Leona was also in that All Fired Up vs. All About Tonight vs. Moves Like Jagger battle, but came as a heavy loser. Pixie, suprisingly, won on what was probably the Saturday's best chance of getting their first No.1
This was the top 10 that week:

1. X Factor Finalists

2. Beyonce

3. Girls Aloud

4. Britney Spears

5. Leona Lewis

6. Guru Josh Project

7. Katy Perry

8. Alesha Dixon

9. Alicia Keys/Jack White

10. Pink

See, I did say 2008 was female pop dominated. Also The Saturdays, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson and the Pussycat Dolls were in the top 20.

What an amazing top 10  I still HATE Infinity though!

Yeah the Sats were number 1 on Itunes for about 10 minutes before Pixie performed on Red or Black and snatched it from them

WOW! Do you think the Calvin lead is correct? Cuz I think it's tooo much!!! but I can't be happier :)

I'm firmly in camp ExCal this week. 'We'll Be Coming Back' has really grown on me this last week so I personally think this deserves to be #1, rather than Wiley whose 'Heatwave' will be dampened by the rain forecasted over the next few days. :P

Ooh, this is late and it was probably higher earlier but:

156. Firestarter - The Prodigy

:cheer: Far higher than it normally gets after TV exposure, but then it had a lot more viewers than usual this time :P

'Breathe' is back at #751 too :D

The better 3-way battle that The Saturdays was in was Club Can't Handle Me vs. Love the Way You Lie vs. Missing You. Because in the week with All About Tonight, it was evident about 48 hours into the week that Pixie would win, whilst in the other one, The Saturdays were still #1 in the Friday mid-weeks, and there was the whole controversy about them giving out the song as a ringtone or something.

There was a battle at Christmas 1995 between Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Oasis and Queen. MJ won of course but how amazing was that.
Kworb now has

Calample = 100

Wiley = 95

This is a very unusual battle so far, Wiley close to overtaking again just as Calvin had opened a biggish lead?! Come on Calvin, please hold on :(

Seriously?! :o I think that's about as iconic as it can possibly get!

That isn't right re; Christmas 1995.

The UK Xmas top 3 in 1995 consisted of:

01. Michael Jackson - Earth Song

02. Mike Flowers Pops - Wonderwall

03. Boyzone - Father And Son

There was never a top 4 consisting of Michael Jackson, The Beatles, Oasis and Queen.

Anyways, back on topic please don't let Wiley overtake ExCal. I mean, 'Heatwave' is ok(ish) but not worthy of being a UK #1 imo, but then it won't be the first time I've seen songs top the UK chart that I didn't think deserved to so...

If Wiley brought out his song last Sunday he certainly would have been number 1. Judging by the promotion and reading some comments Wiley himself wrote on the comments for his video on youtube i reckon that about 97-99% of the sales for Heatwave will be made today. So if he isn't number 1 by the end of today then Calvin Harris will be the favourite for number 1 officially next week.
I have to agree, but unless Rita makes the last-mintue decision to move her song forward a week, Calvin will stay at the top for 2 weeks.

I think the previous data was false, I suspect Wiley was on .9625 as they've never been more than a few % either side of that since release.

On the albums chart, Calvin's overtook Wiley

WOW, this is good!

On the albums chart:

1. Robson & Jerome

2. Queen

3. Oasis

4. Michael Jackson

11. The Beatles

He probably meant that.

Not interested in this chart battle. Can't be arsed with those artists tbf. I hope the arctics can stick around for the week and make top 40.
