Surely one would expect Delilah to be more frontloaded than Conor? I think Plan B is a more likely #1 than Conor and I don't think Delilah is in the race at all.

I've seriously loved this set of singles! 'We'll Be Coming Back' is still growing on me, can't wait for the album. Not fussed on the 'Spectrum' remix though it must be said.

Got to I'm gutted Calvin's looking to miss number 1. As I've said before, that Wiley song is a bit of a flash in the pan. Meanwhile I'm happy Underworld look to crack the Top 10, hope they can hold on for Sunday, and also great for the Arctic Monkeys although I do see them falling before Sunday, not too much hopefully it's a pretty decent cover.

And on a random note Bradley Wiggins wins the gold in the Men's time trails :cheer:

He's definatley gonna win the sports personality of the year now and will probably get a knighthood as well.

Usually Tuesday mids are always vague with a lot of missing data, plus Calvin Harris/Example were quite close to Wiley Monday but yesterday Wiley is could pull ahead on iTunes.

I'll be kinda pissed if Conor Maynard doesn't get that #1 album this week. Not because I find his album particularly good/better than the competition (I haven't actually listened to it so I can't make a judgement yet) but because I'm currently doing some Youtube browsing and at the start of every video his damn 30 second album advert comes up. <_< :P I wonder what his opening numbers will look like.

That's odd, considering most albums are absolutely fantastic on the first, but get a bit "meh" towards the end.

Yeah, a lot of albums are like that I find. On Conor's album he has all these few slower, almost "trance"-ish songs, at the end, which I really like, kind of like Drake, Justin Timberlake or Frank Ocean songs, but more pop-sounding.

Surprised but pleased Through the night is top 40. :o :wub: Drumsound have a good chance of staying there by Sunday imo.

So Plan B could get a 2nd week at #1? Depends how Saturday helps/hiders Conor's chances of that #1 album. They'd be very disapointed with it not hitting #1, especially losing out to an album that was out the week before. +Sales are so low as well right now!

 

So close between Calvin & Wiley too :o Wiley may just have it...

Fantastic to see Underworld comfortably top 10, hopefully they should hold on as they're holding up well on iTunes so far :D Great to see Arctic Monkeys top 20 and Frank Turner top 30 too, I suspect Frank will drop out of the top 40 by the end of the week but Arctics are also holding up great on iTunes so hopefully a top 30 finish, maybe outpeaking 'Don't Sit Down...' (#28) but not quite matching 'R U Mine?' (#23).

 

Also great to see Drumsound & Bassline Smith in the top 40 at this stage but it'll be a tough order for them to stay up there. Had no idea Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds had another single out this week, this should give them a 5th top 100 hit then which will equal Beady Eye's achievement (and overtake the number of top 100 hits produced by Beady Eye's actual album, as one of their hits ('Across The Universe') was a non-album single).

 

Plan B only 500 copies behind Conor Maynard is a shock, he could easily close that and get a second week at #1 to match 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks'! Obviously won't even come close overall sales wise but it'd be brilliant to see him get a fourth career #1 week anyway and Conor missing #1 would be no great loss. Really surprised that Delilah is currently top 3 but even more shocked at Rick Ross being #7, where has this sudden success come from after flopping his entire career so far?! He does have two low top 100 hits to his name as a featured artist now but I can't imagine that'd make much difference at all even with the low sales.

I've just remembered - it's deluxe version is out now. I've seen quite a few adverts on YouTube.

With songs like this on his album im baffed as to how Rick Ross "The Bawse" is doing so well on the midweeks :lol:

 

 

If Conor Maynard was only 500 copies ahead of Plan B yesterday, I don't think his sales will be very high, indeed only around 20-25k imo :o
