Bit of a clearout this week. I'm liking the new Vaccines, Love Twin Atlantic they're one of my favorite live bands at the moment. Happy foir Fun, Pink, TDCC and need to hear that Steve Aoki track, I've Liked all his stuff so far. :D

yay for Ne-Yo, Pink, Fun., The Vaccines and Of Monters and Men being playlisted!

looks like they are going to snub Amelia Lily :/

YAY at Fun. being added. Was inevitable that such a gem of a song would be added eventually. Let's hope it can smash now!

Also great to see Fazer climbing. Hope to see Tulisa's Live it Up fairly soon too!

So happy for Fun., the Vaccines, Two Door Cinema Club, P!nk and Of Monsters and Men

Also, I'm won't be surprised of they do snub Amelia Lily as I feel that the song is missing something like she seems to sing it all in the same tone - not enough of an impact and change when it hits the chorus

'I'm His Girl' getting a re-release then? I'd like it to be some sort of hit for them but after their album only got to #100 it's highly unlikely! Good to see 'Beat Down' finally added as well and I love Ne-Yo's new song. WTF at Scouting For Girls still being supported

Yay for Angel, Frank and Jessie up to the A-List and Little Mix, Rustie and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs up to B :D Actually really love 'Wings' surprisingly!

Very happy for Fun. and Pink! :cheer:

But still no Owl City and Carly and it will be available to download 2 weeks on Monday from the album! I hope the Capital airplay will make sure it can get into the top 10!

Woop for Fun. and P!nk.

Guess its too much to ask for Alanis Morissette to be added too? :heehee:

Disappointed at the lack of Cheryl (and indeed Carly/Owl City) but I feel Under The Sun will be added next week. Looks like they're going to completely blank Good Time, but hopefully if it's a hit upon release they'll playlist it.

And why on Earth is Small Bump still here? Dear God.

Getting a bit worried for Under The Sun, although they ALWAYS support Cheryl it seems so fingers crossed! I'll give them until next week before I get all worried tbf. Clearly Good Time will be much like Moves Like Jagger in that it's a big hit even though Radio 1 snub it, I will be interested to see whether they see their mistake afterwards and playlist it (like they did with Elephant, although that was hardly a huge hit).

And why on Earth is Small Bump still here? Dear God.

I was going to say this, it's deathly dull anyway and has been on the playlist for what feels like years! And it's done not a lot chartwise, it's different if the song is still really popular like Spectrum but I just don't get keeping Small Bump for so long!

Maybe it's so forgettable that they've even forgotten that they've still got it playlisted :heehee:

We have been lacking a massive long-running #2 hit this year so far (Sean Paul did spend 3 weeks there but that wasn't nearly as big as LTWYL and MLJ) so Good Time could easily fill that gap especially if Radio 1 don't jump on board soon (or ever).

Great to see Sam And The Womp up to A (maybe that could do a 'Loca People' and stop 'Good Time' from getting to #1 :kink:) and Of Monsters And Men finally added, otherwise a pretty dull week.

I'm really surprised they're snubbing Labrinth and Alex Clare.

I highly doubt they'll snub Labrinth. He'll either be on there next week or very soon after. I'd be surprised if Alex Clare's next single (whatever they actually decide to release) gets much airplay at all, he doesn't have any realistic chance of getting another hit unfortunately

As for the playlist, hooray for Some Nights, Little Talks and Teenage Icon! :cheer:

With Little Mix, Fazer and Scouting for Girls all on the playlist, it looks like we should be getting 3 new entries in the Top 10 the week starting August 26th

Really pleased that Pink and particularly Fun. have been added. I thought the UK would try and let Fun. be a one hit wonder but it's looking like it might do well chartwise now!

Still a bit sad they've completely snubbed Paloma :( , this campaign started for her so well with a big hit single and good initial album sales... I don't know why they haven't playlisted '30 Minute Love Affair'... :(

Also a shame not to see Owl City playlisted but it should do alright without Radio 1 support to be honest.

Huge hit for Ne-Yo on the way then. :D GOOD! Nice to see Little Mix and Justin rise with their new ones and woo for Fun. and 'Some Nights'. Yay for P!nk too I guess...
I hoping for future additions from Tulisa ft. Tyga, Amelia Lilly and hopefully that Mika song.
