Irrelevant statistical geekery; as 'Molly' is extremely unlikely to re-peak now, unlike 'Silhouettes' earlier in the year, it finally ends the drought of UK #26 hits, peaking there 89 weeks after the last #26 hit (James Blunt's 'Stay The Night') peaked there.

I posted about this a few times back when 'Silhouettes' was first released and again when it re-entered/peaked :P Tis nothing new.

Then consider nothing sickening me. It's great Team GB have done so well and I love the idea of playing Gold (great song anyway) each time.

I Preferred 'Gold' to True' back in the day...

I have always preferred Gold as well. True is a classic, but way too slushy.

Can't wait for 'How We Do (Party)' to finally be released tonight!! It should get to #1 which is brilliant, but something from the Closing Ceremony tomorrow night could possibly challenge?

Hopefully 'Brokenhearted' can stay top 10, a 59p reduction could lift it back to the top 5 so I hope that happens!

Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill 2012 Remix for #1 :D
If that doesn't sicken everyone nothing will

I know, as it stands it's going to be played 26 times on Monday. Maybe 27 if Mo Farah delivers tonight.

I feel sad that the olympics is almost over

I would be surprised if Paul "always there at the historic moments" Mccartney doesn't perform tomorrow.

Not again with the McCartney!

Wasn't Adele supposed to be performing?

Well done Mo Farah, you've done Britain and Spandau Ballet proud.

Wasn't Adele supposed to be performing?

I haven't heard anything about it, she is pregnant so maybe not but even Kate Bush is apparently dragging herself out of live performance wilderness for the first time in YEARS (squee so excited) so it's not much to ask Adele to sing

On DS it says that the following are 'expected to be involved':

The Who

Kate Bush

One Direction

Annie Lennox

Brian May

Pet Shop Boys

Jessie J

Eric Idle

as well as Spice Girls, Muse, Ed Sheeran and George Michael who are confirmed and Take That are apparently still singing even with Gary's tragic recent news.

Not again with the McCartney!

Hasn't Adele got a little person growing inside of her?

YES, but she can still sing!

YES, but she can still sing!

She's quite heavily pregnant now I think, so I'd be surprised if she sang there (but then again, the Olympics isn't something she'll ever get to do again, so ).

I was sure I read she was doing a duet though? Was I imagining it?!

Adele is due to give birth in a few weeks so not sure she'll be up for it. I hope Kate Bush does perform!

I read once that she was doing a duet with Leona.

Some people do perform when heavily pregnant though. The most famous recent example is when M.I.A performed Swagga Like Us with T.I., Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Kanye at the Grammys on her due date! Now THAT is what you call hardcore!

I thought Adele was due at the end of the year?

I don't know when she's due, but I saw some pictures of her the other day and she had a really big baby bump.

Adele is due in September yeah so she is quite heavily pregnant :o

It was reported that her and Leona would duet and then release the single (that definitely would've stopped Rita ) but she denied it soon after it was reported sadly :(
