30 Minute Love Affair officially out this week, hopefully not a total flop. It's made some iTunes progress recently (currently #73) which is surprising, but I don't expect to see it in the top 40 come Sunday and it's a pity she's not been able to take advantage of Picking Up The Pieces doing so well.

 

I expect to see Rita at #1, unfortunately. I have no idea who this Porter Robinson person is but if he can beat Rita I won't complain seeing him at #1.

I was wondering if they'd release Bom Bom early since the fake versions have been shooting up the chart like fireworks, but they'll probably just spend the next 7 days deleting them :lol:

Oh dear God.

How We Do did really bad in the US, so maybe it won't do so well here. I hope in a way that it doesn't, because I don't want to encourage Rita to release more songs like that, I prefer the Hot Right Now and R.I.P type of songs.

Porto Robinson - Language, Aiden Grimshaw - Curtain Call and Bloc Party - Octopus are some of the best singles released this year imo. I'd love for all 3 to go top 10 but I think only Language is likely to do that well. :(

Can someone explain to me what the big fuss/significance of "party and bullshit" is in Rita Ora's new song? that's all i keep seeing all the time.

George Michael is going to perform at the closing ceremony so he will almost certainly perform his new song and the viewing figures for the programme will possibly be one of the highest of all time in UK television so it will be hard for him to miss the top 10.

Probably a lot of the people who are going to buy the song are sleeping now. By this time tomorrow after the closing ceremony it could be in the top 10.
