Please enter the top 10 Emeli Sande  Who would have thought Read All About It Part 2 would get a new peak

Tbh, I'm delighted with the effect the Olympics is having, The top 10 needed a clearout and it wouldn't surprirse me to see Kate Bush, Porter Robinson & Emeli Sande climb into the top 10, maybe even John Lennon, hopefully knocking out Taking Over Me & Lost In Your Love!

17. John Lennon - Imagine

25. George Micheal - White Lights

26. Muse - Survival

31. Oasis - Wonderwall

33. One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful

37. Aiden Grimshaw - Curtain Call (Could struggle to make top 40 overall now tbh, should be quite frontloaded aswell)

41. Taio Cruz - Dynamite

46. Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

52. Of Monster and Men - Little Talks

55. Conor Maynard - Vegas Girl (3 Weeks top 40, ouch!)

79. Annie Lennox - Little Bird

Such a shame the inevitable has now happened. Second worst #1 of the year so far after Chris Brown. :(

Why does nearly everybody seem to hate Rita Ora's song - I quite like it...

The one group who seem to have gained very little benefit from the Closing Ceremony are the Spice Girls.

At least Elbow's - ODLT must have already sold enough for a new peak, even if it plummets like Alex Day for the rest of the week...

And since someone's bound to ask, (and although this is the wrong thread), I have 396k logged sales for it, but there are 10-15 weeks where I have none, so I woud guess 405-407k overall. Hopefully Music Week will come up with something though, either today, or next Monday...

PS, the last precise figure I have is 351,918 to 10/12/11.

their greatest hits album has benefitted hugly

Just Geri & Emma for me. ;)

Wasn't anyone else hoping that those taxi drivers would brake hard and send them flying?
Says alot that out of all the artists songs that were played the Spices havent really benefitted - their back catalog is poor when you listen now. Great to see that Elbow will finally have a decent peak!!
Yes Kate Bush  Highlight of the whole thing for me, she must be top 10 combined since the remix should probably be added to the original!
Kate now up to #8, and Pound the Alarm out of the top 10!!! :D Hopefully when Whip It and Automatic are singles they do even worse.
Running Up That Hill knocking Pound The Alarm out the top 10 is MAKING MY LIFE. I just hope it can stick there all week and get there officially.

Would be good to see Kate Bush get her 1st UK Top10 hit since 2005 when 'King of The Mountain' got to #4

Really hope RAAI part III keeps going and reaches the top 10. It won't happen though.

Maybe with someone singing it on X Factor will give it longevity. Wishful thinking!

She did sing it about four times herself...

This  What I don't get it why people are buying the old version rather than the amazing new one? Is 20p really that big an issue?
