Cover Drive performing 'Explode' (and 'Twilight') tonight. Probably do nothing for either of them (or the album) but i'm hoping the former goes top 100 at least. Their best single yet and it's out next week. :(

Well as much as I care deeply for your opinion of the song, that doesn't change the fact that it was most definitely an "out of the blue" #1.
Heatwave was hardly an obvious #1 either (it was an obvious top 2 hit granted but it's not like Calvin had no chance at all). That post would normally be valid but now is one of the times it's very much not.
I listen to a lot of urban music as well, I don't think any fan of urban music (except you) would class it as urban. Anyway, there is no point in keeping discussing if it is/isn't urban.

Also, there were some songs that surprised me by not going #1. I was pretty sure Whistle would get #1 at some point, and I was expecting Don't Wake Me Up to get #1 aswell.

And future weeks I'm still not sure about. Like Ne-Yo's new song and Wings, I'm still can't decide whether I think they're going to #1 or not.

Wings will go to number 1 which will be as boring as f***.

I do hope so!!! It would be one of my favourite #1s of the year if it did (along with R.I.P, Twilight, Feel the Love, Somebody That I Used to Know and Hot Right Now).

I've just not really been hearing of the song anywhere though, that's why I'm not sure. :(

I noticed that too :o I was never a big fan of it in BJSC but if it has any chance of becoming a chart hit that would be great :D

Seriously, people perform those songs every year! :drama:

I've never understood (not even when Cheryl was there), why so many people watch that show? in Spain people usually is out, having a life, instead of being sat at home watching the 56467th edition of a show as boring as that one.

I think it's mainly to laugh at people singing badly.

Well, I'm not watching it, but that's only because I don't have a TV.

I don't think ratings will be as high as they used to be. Weren't there already falling last year ?
The auditions are the best part of the show, it kind of gets boring once the live shows begin because there's nothing to laugh at anymore.

The first series I started watching it had Chico in, so we had someone to cringe laugh at back then. :drama:

I'm guessing some people have just sunk into the "habit" of watching every year, I've pretty much lost all interest in it now

X Factor already started in the UK? :o
