it's still wishy-washy boyband material.

They're not a boyband, they're a PROPER BAND who WRITE THEIR OWN MATERIAL and PLAY INSTRUMENTS and ARGH

:kink:

I do quite like 'Taking Over Me' but disappointed Florence couldn't knock it back down to #4.

I really like Taking Over Me, it's much better than their first single.

But from what i've heard so far The Wanted >>>>>>>>>

(sorry for comparing)!

I'd say Taking Over Me is marginally better than When She Was Mine, but it's still wishy-washy boyband material.

I think it's pretty great, but does anyone remember Let Loose? That's who they remind me of  Check out Crazy For You on YT if you haven't.

The Alias remix of this is fab btw, and was actually released, unlike the one they did for Will Young - Jealousy :(

I think Taking Over Me is better than When She Was Mine, but it sounds kind of something like The Wanted would do.

'We'll Be Coming Back', is undoubtedly a huge summer anthem. A melodic guitar-led intro gives way to a hard electro synth-fuelled chorus backed by Example's catchy, addictive vocals. From the terraces in Ibiza to the festival fields, it is set to be the soundtrack to the summer. Remixes come courtesy of Michael Woods, Killsonik, R3hab and Jacob Plant. - HMV

My brother Wiley at #1 again!! :cheer:

Loving all these car noises playing over the song :drama:

IKR :/ It's like he's forgotten that people are actually listening to the radio and not watching the videos. They should have special muted versions of the video for this purpose...

I hope Example can return to #1 with Say Nothing when it's released in September. It's AMAZE!

The Blur concert tonight will be available to download within 24 hours. The CD version is then due for release next week. That said, the CDs of their Hyde Park performances a couple weeks ago didn't do that well.
