'Glee'-esque movie starring Anna Kendrick (The Twilight Saga, Scott Pilgrim, 50/50), Anna Camp (The Good Wife, True Blood) & Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids).

Doesn't look amazing but I love both Anna's and it has singing so will likely end up checking it out.

I've been waiting for this for a while, I think it looks quite good. I'm excited for it.

I saw a preview of this in the cinema. Looks good, I'll probably watch it.

Rebel Wilson is such a good comedy actress.

This ended up being quite 'nice', started off a bit iffy but it grew on me and got funnier. The performances/song choices were really good and the really quiet girl was amazing. Might have had my expectations set a bit too high though, considering the really good reviews and the excellent cast.

It slightly annoyed me how they went on about good endings and then I thought this one had a bad one. I'm still waiting to know which song she chose!

I even learned the cup routine. AMAZING.
Watching this on Thursday, can't wait - it looks brilliant :D
I want to watch this movie. Is this an embarrassing decision or not?
I really want to see this! How similar is it to Bridesmaids, which it's advertised as being so? :P I love Rebel Wilson from that, and I've enjoyed Anna Kendrick in various films (not Twilight though, Jack ;)). I'd probably enjoy it. I just need someone to go with!

Rebel Wilson is great in it (as is Anna Kendrick, she seems to play a different kind of character for once) and there are a couple of moments like the dress fitting scene from Bridesmaids, there's certainly the same kind of feel to it. Is it as funny as Bridesmaids? Certainly not. Starts slow but it does get better and I still enjoyed it enough to buy on DVD eventually.
I agree, it's not as good as 'Bridesmaids' (but what is?), but it is very funny, quotable as well. I don't think it took a while to get in to though - for me, it's the best comedy since 'Bridesmaids', and I've already seen it twice! 'Fat Amy' was the funniest character, marginally ahead of the quiet one.

Just been to see it, it's hilarious! Brilliant film, it is indeed very much like Bridesmaids meets Glee. Of course it's not as funny as Bridesmaids, but I'd definitely reccomend it. Rebel Wilson was amazing especially!

Just finished watching this and it was so good! Rebel Wilson was so funny and Ester Dean was great too.

It was Acca-mazeballs! :P

Definitely one I'm going to rewatch! The mash-ups got a bit too much for my liking, but they were really well thought out. The final mash-up was great and I loved how it ended with the possibility of a sequel (I think we'll get one too).

EDIT: Scrap the above, they are talking about a sequel (Rebel Wilson is likely to be back too :D)

There's gonna be a sequel???? *squeals*

Thought this was a fantastic film. The outtake at the end where Rebel said that the nodules were "God's way of punishing you for being a ginger". I DIED.

Hilarious throughout and some great song choices.

I loved this! I didn't think it was that similar to Bridesmaids (with the only notable similarity of strong female characters taking up the majority of the main cast. Aubrey was quite a similar role to Helen though). The roles were all perfect though, I loved all of the girls and Jesse was really cute as well. The two commentators were an excellent addition as well (something like that in Glee wouldn't go amiss, rather than the irrelevant backstage scenes with judges that they do). The mash-ups were excellent, I loved the ones in the area outside especially. I'd say it's my favourite film of the year, but we are only 5 days in. However I prefer it to every film I've seen since the beginning of 2012, making it the best since Bridesmaids :D

EDIT: It was also great hearing tracks like "Release Me", "Chelsea Dagger" and "Bulletproof" in a US film! And of course the underground DJ that is David Guetta.

I quite enjoyed this. There was quite a few laughs and giggles in there. Thoroughly surprised by Brittany Snow's voice and did NOT expect Ester Dean to be in this. Among all the Glee's, Smash's and Nashville's though, it's nothing particularly special. The song choices were a bit meh and expected.

Favourite line from the film: "You know Guetta?" I hope there's a sense of irony in there.

I saw this again last night! It's even better on second viewing  "You're gonna get pitchslapped!"

I've FINALLY seen this for a third time with the DVD release on Monday, and it's even better than I remembered it! :D Some of the cast performed at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night (and won two awards), which I've not yet seen, so if anybody has a link for that I would very much appreciate it! Also, an additional soundtrack has been released featuring two of Beca's remixes and other songs from the film!

And the best news - a sequel was confirmed yesterday, to be released in 2015! It's so far away, but I'm sure it'll be ace anyway.
