Ugh, it's for a good cause but what a dull song. At least it's a charity thing though, obviously you can't begrudge a charity money and if it's for a good cause I can let it slide.

I never saw that coming, Gerry & The Pacemakers, it probably have a good chance of #1 next week and it be the second time to get to #1 as 'Ferry cross the Mersey' did, that's if the track gets there first.

I should imagine it would make top top 30/40 tomorrow.

What an awful song at #2, stupid campaign.

What a ridiculous reaction! The campaign is for a good cause and whilst I don't like the song myself, you can't really begrudge the sentiment by calling it 'stupid' just because you don't like the song.

Would this be the biggest gap between returns to #1? Also it would be the fourth time the song has got to #1 equalling "Unchained Melody".

If 'You'll Never Walk Alone' officially makes #1 next week then I don't see what the problem is. It's people power getting a track deeply associated with Liverpool/The Hillsborough Disaster news and would be a part of UK history. After 23 years (which just seems disgraceful), people whose relatives/friends were among the 96 who died that day finally getting some answers.

I don't partcularly like the track but nobody should begrude this being a potential #1 next week. Then again, Example will probably get to no. 1 anyways (rewind to 2009 when Cascada made #1 the week after Michael Jackson died - even the King Of Pop couldn't get a posthumous no. 1 single)

I don't think Example will get it, Say Nothing has not got enough attention. You'll Never Walk Alone will do it.

I should imagine it is, I wonder what OCC will make of it, as it won't be the 1208th #1 it would be 159th #1 as that is the original when the track was first released, 31st October 1963

I'd say 'Say Nothing' is getting about the same amount of airplay as 'Stay Awake' seemed to be getting last year and that track just about made #1 by the skin of its teeth!!!

OK, well I doubt the Script will be No.1 next week, and it's certain Tulisa will not climb back up the charts. So I'm saying You'll Never Walk Alone, with Say Nothing at 2 and probably The Script at 3.

Fourth?

'The Crowd' made no.1 with the track in 1985 (Bradford Fire) but the 1989 Hillsborough charity record was 'Ferry Cross the Mersey'.

Dappy - Good Intentions has also been pushed forward to this week, i wonder if he can get to #1???
Nicki Minaj & Cassie at #182

Oh this is out OA/OS? :o I doubt it will do as well as Starships did but it will be interesting to see it climb further.

I can't see it being #1 - these Facebook etc. campaigns only provide a 2-3 day boost, though admittedly I'd much rather see it at #1 than any of next week's new releases!

Dappy, Example and this "Gerry" will miss #1 next week I think. I think The Script could get a second week at #1.

Good to see Nicki & Cassie showing up on the iTunes chart, don't expect it to go officially to high though!

Also Robson & Jerome took it to #1 so its 2 cover versions, and the re-release of the original this week.
