Amelia Lily is only 10% ahead of Ne-Yo, If it's still around 10-15% tonight, I'm 100% Ne-Yo will be number one this week, I really like both songs though!

05. Flo Rida - I Cry

12. Cheryl - Under The Sun (New Peak maybe this week?)

13. Tulisa - Live It Up (Looks like this is going to miss the top 10/ top 10 effect)

23. Mumford & Sons - I Will Wait

34. Plan B - Deepest Shame

31. Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China

35. Coldplay - Paradise

40. David Guetta & Sia - She Wolf

46. Coldplay - Viva La Vida

54. Coldplay - Yellow

57. Coldplay - The Scientist

62. Labrinth - Treatment

64. Rihanna & Calvin Harris - We Found Love

69. Adele - One And Only

75. Coverdrive - Explode

92. Leona Lewis - I Got You

Ok, now it's 9 (!!!!!!!!!) Coldplay songs in the top 100. The biggest band in the world for the past 15 years.

Well their sales have been falling since X&Y in 2005..:coffee:

Seeing as their past three albums have all been released in different sales climates, that's no surprise. Mylo Xyloto will overtake Viva la Vida or Death and All of His Friends's total at the end of 2012 anyway (both of them on ~1.2m).

It's good to see Amelia still increasing and Ne-Yo decreasing but I still don't think Amelia will do it this week.

I would absolutely love for her to do it but I'm getting a "Saturdays" feeling about this. It would be good if she can hold on until Wednesday at least because Radio 1 might consider playlisting her.

Tulisa is not a big enough name, for such a poor song imo to just shoot up into the top 10, like people expected.

Young was a catchy dance song but it was much better then this follow up, she might say she doesn't care where it charts but deep down I'm sure she does otherwise she wouldn't of mentioned it at all, big global stars, who have been around for some time, don't care as much where they chart in the Uk but for Tulisa who has only just started her solo career, being a judge on The X Factor, having a #1 Debut single, her 2nd single underproforming in the Uk before she releases her debut album, doesn't look good for someone aiming for a long successful solo career on home turf.

She is flopping, so she should care.

Whose of those who've been around for over a decade haven't been dropping?

They're pretty much the only act around (well, one of two along with Take That) that can consistently sell 7 figures of their albums even as the overall market plummets. And as Theo said 'Mylo Xyloto' could well end up outselling 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends'.

Regarding 'Live It Up', I actually fully agree with Eric. I never expected it to do any better than 'What Do You Take Me For?' and I'm not surprised to see it doing even worse than that. Just fingers crossed for it to avoid the frustrating #11 spot.

The Killers  #17, Mumford & Sons  #22. The Killers probably going to miss the top 10 then but hopefully still top 15. It's a good song but nothing new for them, sounds like the follow-up to 'Crossfire' really (which it is in a way). 'I Will Wait' climbing really well, a first top 20 hit for them on the way? :D

Guetta/Sia  #38.

Still very pleasing to see Little Mix holding on at 4. I thought once Flo Rida overtook Pink he'd easily would have gotten to 4 by now so all good for the moment at least.

There are 4 versions of '#3' on iTunes - both clean and explicit versions of the standard and the deluxe. There are album versions of 'Hall Of Fame' at #102 and #700 currently.

Only one version of 'Coexist' on iTunes but the 'album version' of 'Angels' is nonetheless charting separately from the 'single version'. I remember this happened with 'Paradise' as well. At #73 and #137 anyhow. Hoping for maybe top 50 (top 40 would be a bit too unrealistic :P)

Even Rihanna couldn't get You Da One or Talk That Talk top 10. And if Rihanna can't, I don't know why you expect Tulisa to. I think artists are fully aware if they release songs like that they're probably not going to be big hits.

That was were my argument was aimed - its different but still has that pop sound. Rihanna may not have got those 2 specific songs top 10 but with a held back release they would easily have. Live it Up is held back so is performing poorly imo!

Since when did The Script swear in their music?

There are quite a few songs with explicit tags on '#3'! I'm a bit surprised at that as well but I think the album version of 'For The First Time' had a swear word or 2 in it.

Their first album had an explicit tag iirc, We Cry has 'shit' in it I think.
Glad Tulisa is still climbing. I hope she will reach top 10 by tonight.

186. Don't You Worry, Don't You Worry Child - Tribute to Swedish House Mafia - (Dont You Worry Child)

Massive.

I don't expect her to stay there, but I'm surprised and pleased to see that - out of all the would-be contenders for #1 this week - Amelia Lily is looking like she could be #1 this week. I was expecting her to be in a similar position to Tulisa/The Killers at best and for them two to be in the top 3. Random week.

Hmmm... David Guetta/ Sia  29 already - add to that 2 versions of Hall of Fame in the top 100 + Ne-Yo and Amelia being very close - going to be a big battle come the weekend.

I actually think any 4 of them could do it - Glad Tulisa is off the radar - if deserves to flop

It looks like 'Trouble' is the only other release in SHM's week that might possibly trouble (no pun even intended ) the top 10. Assuming One Direction will be extremely frontloaded, surely 'Don't You Worry Child' has a very decent shot at getting them a #1? Would be a very nice way to end their short chart history. Maintains the peaking at one below a multiple of 3 thing as well :P 7-4-10-4-13-1.

'She Wolf (Falling To Pieces)' to #27 and 'Play Hard' is also at #64. Ne-Yo to have two more top 100 new entries this week with 'Play Hard' and 'Turn Around' (currently #68)!

Coldplay top 1,000 update:

33. Princess of China - Coldplay & Rihanna

36. Paradise - Coldplay

46. Viva la Vida - Coldplay

48. Yellow - Coldplay

53. The Scientist - Coldplay

69. Fix You - Coldplay

80. Charlie Brown - Coldplay

88. Clocks - Coldplay

95. Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall - Coldplay

220. Up in Flames - Coldplay

239. Trouble - Coldplay

240. In My Place - Coldplay

250. Us Against the World - Coldplay

254. Speed of Sound - Coldplay

256. Strawberry Swing - Coldplay

296. Princess of China - Coldplay & Rihanna

408. God Put a Smile Upon Your Face - Coldplay

561. Princess of China (Radio Edit) - Coldplay & Rihanna

686. Strawberry Swing - Coldplay

693. Violet Hill - Coldplay

724. The Scientist - Coldplay

747. 42 - Coldplay

764. Talk - Coldplay

Nice to see some of the songs they didn't even perform getting boosts (most notably 'Fix You' of course, what other song could return to the top 70 after promotion of other songs by the act :P) and they should be good for at least five top 100 entries again this week if not six or seven :D

She Wolf isn't quite as much of a Titanium clone as I thought it would be, but its still quite underwhelming. Amelia would be a slightly preferable number 1 to Ne-Yo again.

Mumford & Sons should easily get their highest charting hit this week :D very well timed release
