HQ is amazing.

Much better than her last lead single! This sounds pretty good, I love the vibe. Reminds me once again why she's my favorite big american female popstar. If I had to rate them now :

I like the first five, the last two not so much (SOS is just trash).

 

Also love her new short haircut btw, she looks really good.

A Rihanna lead single has never hit me on first listen, so I'm going to RESERVE JUDGEMENT for now ~

I always think it's stupid to rate a song that been out for a couple of hours, in comparison to songs that have been out for years.

 

I like that it's very different sounding. Her voice annoys me a bit in the chorus, I'm sure it will grow.

That is really good! :o Hoping the rest of the album will be up to the same quality as that. TTT wasn't anywhere near as good as WFL I thought.

no way near as good as 'we found love', pretty disappointing actually. :( probably my least favourite lead single from her so far.

I'm not sure what I think of that! I'm so glad that she's not gone for another Calvin/sound-a-like song for the lead, and I think the risk will eventually pay off. She sounds a lot like Sia throughout (I'm guessing she's on backing vocals), not that that's a bad thing. A strong song and I think it will grow to be one of my favourites of hers.

She actually has a REALLY strong selection of lead singles! The top six especially are fantastic, not so fussed with RR.

Not as amazing as some comments are making out. I actually find it a bit dull in places but I do love the 'shine bright like a diamond' hook.

Oh wow, it's amazing :o So different to what I expected but it's a lovely mix of Princess Of China and Russian Roulette, fab!

All of them would be in my top 200 of all time so it's probably too early judge with Diamonds at all compared to the other ones but it feels like it's something really amazing that will hold in my affections.

It's decent, but nothing special - so I'm ultimately quite disappointed on the first 2 listens. Was obviously hoping for something more upbeat/clubby, which is what she does best for me.

It's GOOD. I'm obviously loving it, and it think it'll grow even more. It's definitely not as instant for me as the last few lead singles and probably (at this time) the weakest for me. All the other are pretty much all 10/10 moments for me.

They're all 9+/10 which is an incredible hit ratio.

 

It's good but it really doesn't feel like a #1 hit to me. I'm sure it'll do well as it's Rihanna but I think it might end up being a long-running top 3/5 hit instead. I like the chilled out sound of it, but it's more 'cool album track' material rather than lead single material.

I am in LOVE right now, not quite as good as WFL, but it's a special one <3

She really sounds like she's emulating Sia in the chorus.
