The Winners Song #2 [2009]

Once Upon A Christmas Song #5 [2009]

I know noone probably wants to remember it, but I Know Him So Well went Top 20...

I think people are forgetting in the OP it says 'never troubled the charts again'. So surely they're allowed 2 Top 20 hits and then no further Top 40 hits (or maybe no Top 75 hits if we're being strict?). I certainly wouldn't class someone who had 2 Top 20 hits and then a flurry of Top 40 hits as a two hit wonder anyway... :P

Son Of Dork fit into this!

#3 Ticket Outta Loserville

#10 Eddie's Song

They never even survived for a 3rd single after the success of Busted...

Here's one from 2001:

Spooks

"Things I've Seen" was #6 in January 2001, then the follow-up "Karma Hotel" made #15 in April and since then just 1 other minor Top 75 hit. A two-hit wonder!

Spooks are amazing!! 'Things I've Seen' and 'Karma Hotel' are great.

I think it is a little soon to be calling people like Cher Lloyd a 2 hit wonder, when she has only had 1 album out, and the next one could potentially be big.

Also Joe McElderry has had 4 albums which have all been reasonably successful, so again, he may technically only have had 2 top 40 singles, but I'm not sure if he counts as a 2 hit wonder.

Hasn't Taylor Swift only had two top 20 hits? 'Love Story' #2 and 'We Are Never, Ever Getting Back Together #4, pretty sure her next highest peaking were 'Mine'/'You Belong With Me' at #30.

Her next highest peak is #22 with B.o.B's 'Both Of Us' which she featured on. (But yes, 'Mine'/'You Belong With Me' and also 'Begin Again' are her next highest peaking songs as the lead artist, all making #30).

So bummed someone beat me to saying The 411! Although also from 2004, V would also qualify for that title - 'Blood Sweat and Tears' and the double-a-side of 'Hip To Hip/Can You Feel It?' were both top 10 hits, 'You Stood Up' stalled at #12 and then their album bombed!

I don't think these artists can be called " Two hit wonders" whe we know there due to release new music soon. Want U Back wasn't a hit in the Uk (Agreed) but it was a major hit in America.

- Cher Lloyd

- Alexis Jordan

- Tulisa

- Avicii

Better yet, "Sweet Revenge", which deserved to be a huge hit but flopped

The biggest two hit wonder had to be Irene Cara: Fame number 1 and Flashdance: what a feeling number 2 but no other hits!

+ Avicii also had "Seek Bromance"

Poor forgotten Deep Blue Something :(

"Breakfast At Tiffany's" climbed to No. 1 in September 1996, "Josey" limped in at No.27 only 3 months later... and that was it!

There are quite a few here that are probably too recent to be called two hit wonders. Tulisa and Cher Lloyd especially on that list.
