Adele seems to be gaining on SHM again, up to 0.8 from 0.75 on the latest Kworb update (SHM are still increasing though and have pulled away from Rihanna and PSY, Adele is just increasing faster at the moment). I'm a little bit surprised Adele has held up this well.

Taylor's new promo single seemed to drop from #15 to ~#47 which I assume was a revert, but since then it's just gradually climbing back up rather than snapping right back to #15 so no idea what's going on there! Currently showing as #22 anyhow.

Disclosure up to #19!

Leona has overtaken Ellie combined in the latest pop bar update. Leona is looking more and more likely to get to #5 on Sunday :D

Radio stations must be playing 'Skyfall' and I'd imagine it won't be long before we see Adele #1 on the radio airplay charts. Any key new releases next week? If not, Adele once again has a good shot at #1 as SHM look like they've secured their place at the top this week which I'm just as happy about - excellent top 2 either way. :D

Calvin and Florence will be very big competition for Adele next week, but then again Calvin does have a thing for entering at #2.

Looking at his previous first week week sales for the singles from this era, it seems Adele will just need to do 80k+ to get number one. I'd imagine Calvin/Florence would be midweek number one, but then Adele overtake towards the end of the week.

I'd still not rule out the potential of Rihanna returning to #1 especially once the music video arrives, and if Rihanna performs on X Factor that could well give her enough of a sales boost to grab that top spot once again. Adele climbing to no. 1 seems much more likely at the moment though.

Actually, 'Sweet Nothing' could be #1 if it sells anywhere near as much as 'We'll Be Coming Back' did (around 100k) so that'd be interesting. Poor Adele though if she ends up doing a "Moves Like Jagger" and just ends up stuck at #2 for endless weeks.

I really hope Adele could climb to #1. What are the chances of it selling 1 million? It should do 80k+ this week. Then next week it'll likely do well. Not to mention we'll likely see it get boosted when the film is released and there is a chance we could see her on X-factor in late November/December I think.
Wiley feat Ms D the week after that could be #1.

That would be amazing, but it's likely they'll miss the top 10 now tbh.

I don't think it will. When i looked at the most popular videos on Youtube on Saturday it was at #8, so that should be a good sign for the song.

The pre-order is doing better than 'Let's Go' but worse than 'We'll Be Coming Back' which suggests its opening sales are likely to be somewhere in between the two, certainly more than 80k I'd think/hope. It could be close but I think Calvin is gonna do it this time.

Far too early to tell if it has a shot at a million (but it probably does).

The instrumental for Sweet Nothing reminds me of Kelis - Millionaire. Is the video for this on TV? i haven't seen it on any music channels yet.

Thats what it looks like...

It could be ''Sweet Nothing'' followed by JLS, Robbie & Rihanna and I doubt Skyfall will be able to sell more than 50k/week after all this time in the charts.

I wouldn't be shocked if her next single never goes to no1 either. She is usually not frontloaded enough to win tough no1 battles. (although she sells much more in the long run)

Hopefully Leona will at least get a top5 single this week. (she is still no5 on itunes and should climb again after friday)

I wonder if radio play will increase after that. They rarely snub top5 hits...

I doubt that, i think JLS and Robbie Williams are releasing that week as well they will probably chart higher

192. P!nk - Try

Glad this is showing up already! I really hope radio support Try because it has the potential to be at least as big as Blow Me. The video's fantastic, too. The Truth About Love doesn't have an obvious big hit on it in my opinion, but Try is one of the better songs and a good choice for a second single. Is it likely that Pink will get an X Factor performance?

It went top 10 on US iTunes already being cherry-picked from the album when it was released.
