I really hope that 'try' can be a hit too, it seems like the right time of the year for it to be released so I think it possibly could. it's definitely my favourite song on the album, that last chorus. :wub:

#5, #6 or #7 it's not important which of these positions it is if it tumbles as fast as 'Collide', which in all honesty and I can see it falling worse than. :(

If she moves up to A-List today on Radio1 that could be great news..just depends, it wont have good longevity if radio/tv doesnt strart to climb but if they do...who knows maybe it could stick around for a good few weeks. The 59p reduction may help at some point too. Plus Leona's solo version of Trouble (the video version) is released on Monday so that may be a popular version. :D

If you select "holiday" on iTunes LivePopBars, it says that the highest version of Fairytale of New York is at #7, but we know from previous years that iTunes has a problem with that song - they only include it on the "holiday" section if it's on a Christmas album. They don't include it if it's from a Pogues Best of, probably because the song's title doesn't include anything remotely Christmas-y.

I agree. I'd prefer him to get #35 hits with songs songs I like, than #1 with songs I hate.

 

He's got no songs on his album like Turn Up the Music left though, which is probably why he had to release a song like this. I don't think Don't Judge Me will be used in the US though, since it'll flop there, they'll probably use Bassline there for the 3rd single, when Don't Wake Me Up dies down.

Thanks UMI. I was thinking that top 4 is so strong so wouldnt be close, but if she can stay #5 till her Alan Carr Performance who knows maybe it'd be a big enough boost to #4. It may fall before that though so Alan Carr may just bring it back up to #5 if it does fall.

Yeah, Don't Wake Me Up only started taking off there recently. Infact, the whole thing looked quite suspicious, since for ages it was being completely ignored, then all of a sudden it started shooting up the airplay charts. I think they'll probably wait a month or two before promoting another song there.

I don't know whether you've included this in the figures above, but the album version of ACH is just outside the T40 so I'd say that would be above Leona overall.
