A LOT of potential top 10 new entries this week (well, at least midweek top 10 new entries).

 

I can see the album midweek chart to be one where there's lots of large fallers and drops from the Top 40, but will go back up by Sunday.

Yeah its on the compilations chart due to the amount of remixes by different artists - could be one of the top 5 selling albums of the week overall though, hopefully we get its sales.

I don't take too much notice of pre-orders for EPs - 99% of people i know never bother to pre-order a download release unless you get some bonus tracks/content by doing so.

 

Although compared to others iv seen that have gone onto be big hits then #41 is not a bad position and is certainly lining itself up to be #1 on the album chart when it is released.

I was just thinking Bastilles song was at no2 on eps last week and into this and it helped its place on the chart be 10 places higher than the current itunes average - really want candy to get a week at no1 even if he does fall quickly down the chart - itd be robbie first no1 in 8 years - never thought he'd have a chance after 2006 but people seem to like candy!!

We never usually see the impact EP sales have as usually a track will be #3 for example in the main iTunes chart and the EP #4 but Bastille are a great example i don't think they have climbed above #24 on the main iTune's chart but the EP has given them a Top 15 midweek.

I'll never understand people who pre-order EPs it isn't like it is going to sell out.
