Seeing this week sales that are just in - JLS, Labrinth and SHM/Calvin prob wont be selling much this week - maybe 50-60k for them all, looking good for Robbie next week then?!

Fot the Robbie of 10 years ago perhaps - not so sure about nowadays...

Wow JLS are really underperforming. :o They've had a lot of radio support from Capital and Radio 1.
JLS song sounds so dated though, I doubt anyone bar their hardcore fanbase will buy it and it will drop like a brick next week. What JLS did well for a while was make their music mainstream enough to pick up casual sales, but this new song will be purely fan purchases only.
 55. Steps

Yes!!! Come on Steps, could this go top 10 at the rate it is climbing?!

Never thought I'd ever see the day

I'll be helping the song ascend the chart later this evening, hoping a lot of other working Steps fans are doing the same! :cheer:

You never know - its been in the radio airplay top 10 for the past month, doing decently on mtv and he's an XFactor performance on Sunday, although he does poorly on that usually as he gets nervous!!

Itll peak at least top 5 and then most likely drop like a stone!

Yeah, it sounds like something that would've been released a few years ago rather than in 2012. And I agree it'll drop quickly, I don't think it'll have the longevity that She Makes Me Wanna did. It's so great to see both Labrinth and JLS in the top 3 right now.

Emeli Sande - Imagine  143!

Taylor and Ed - Everything Has Changed  56! :o

Woah. How is number 3 on iTunes a disaster for JLS? It's bloody good compared to the way their last two singles did!

That's an absolute madness, surely she is one of the biggest musicians in the US?

She must be the biggest artist in the US! I don't think GaGa, Katy Perry or Rihanna would be able to manage that! Taylor is just massive in the US!

She's doing so well here in the UK too, I really hope Everything Has Changed can go top 10 but another top 40 hit would be amazing!

Taylor Swift I would say is the biggest Us star, I mean her opening week sales are going to be something Gaga,Perry or Rihanna could never do. I know Gaga sold 1million in her opening week but she sold it for 0.99$. I mean who else has promo singles that go to number one with ease. I know You Were Trouble seems to be doing AMAZING for a promo single.

Taylor's success with this album is fully deserved! It's so, so good! Especially '22'.

I've noticed that all her singles go to the top of US iTunes, she could release 3 minutes of silence and it will go to #1

But all of their leading singles were number 1s...
