I know many people will say 'those acts wouldn't have won anyway' but tbh I would rather have watched them perform a few more weeks then the drivel that is left.

 

Exactly! Because no-one is going to say they would like to see Rylan or Christopher in the final, but not mind because Ella was there, for example.

I seem to remember the last time they had this theme, some of the songs didn't even reach number one in the UK! :lol: So basically, if a song flops over here but makes number one in Iceland or something, you can still perform it! :P

Yeah, someone did Billionaire I recall? It was #1 in Netherlands, and that's like it.

I see they are doing series 3 style guest stars this year.

I've lost all interest in this show now, tbh. I'm only youtubing my favourites (Union J and Ella) and the not so good (Christopher - mainly to hear the comment made by Gary to Tulisa). The rest are just so average! They would struggle to make it to the final 16 in series 4! I'm only interested in the guest performers and the ones I stated above. But for now, I'm out of XF for this year I think. BORING.

^ She had severe flu so couldn't perform, it's unfair she gets through but this is X-Factor so fair never comes into it does it?

 

Also I read a pitch expert analysed the show, and Christopher hit the most bum notes on Saturday, followed by Kye and surprisingly Jahmene was tied with Rylan :o What reinforces the joke of the show is that Jade was second last. Obviously Ella was first :lol:

 

I know there's more to it than pitch perfect but still :P

Just what is wrong with the public & the judges. Seems Nicole hasn't a clue what talent really is. No wonder she got kicked off the US show.

All the good ones are dropping like flies. A good singer has gone out every week so far and yet the likes of rubbish Rylan, & Christopher are still there.

If either of them win they will be another Steve Brookstein.

 

As for screaming Jahmene - he's over hyped and that snigger of his just gets on my nerves.

 

There are now only 2 good ones left - Ella & James - is it either of these going next week? :o

 

Just how could the judges say Union J were better than Jade. She was absolute brilliance in the sing off, although she shouldn't have been in the bottom 2 in the first place.

 

I don't like boybands much but if anything it should have been District 3 not Union J in the bottom 2. D3 have been a mess every week.

Well it also happened to Rik Waller in Pop Idol. He got a free pass but then was replaced by Darius because he was still too ill the next week. If Lucy is dropped for it (unlikely) I imagine they'd do another stupid vote like last year and let someone who's missed half the competition in.

That's what I meant. Sensibly they should bring Jade back but when I put that argument forward last year people hounded me with 'that's not fair, the public paid to see Johnny leave' which of course isn't true at all since people actually paid to see their favourite through not their least favourite leave.

 

Anyway, rumours are Lucy is thinking of quitting. She doesn't like 'singing covers every week'. So why did she audition? Matt Cardle didn't like singing covers week but he knew he had to and it was a means to an end so he just got on with it. She should quit anyway because she can't sing and much better singers have already left. She should be feeling pretty guilty.

Personally I wouldn't bother bringing a wildcard or a replacement, the final is on Dec 9. There has to be a double elimination coming so why bother finding a replacement for Lucy. Its a quick way of weeding the acts out, there are 9 acts left (if you include Lucy) with 5 more live shows and the final.

 

If Lucy goes, 8 acts are left, no point of double eliminations, 3 in the final, and in the next 5 weeks an act will go week by week. Job done. No point of replacing Lucy, I say.

I find it funny how Lucy was perfectly fine at the Skyfall premiere the day before the live show! :lol: I'd like to see her leave, but I don't want someone else to take her place. The only reason I didn't mind last year was because I thought Amelia Lily was a good singer. Lucy obviously doesn't particularly care about the show if she doesn't put the hard work in and just parties all the time. And Gary said something about Jade not caring enough last night..!

I think Nicole is a good judge - she has given a lot of good advice and noticed what was actually wrong with performances. It's just that she likes Rylan and Chris! :P

 

And it's outrageous that good acts are going out rather than the crap ones. What do people see in Rylan and Chris? Rylan isn't even fun to watch unlike some other "joke acts" were.
