And? I watched the music channels all day on Saturday and it came up ONCE. Now, if a video is only getting played once on the music channels every day, surely that's a bad sign for its chart prospects? Plus, the reason why it might be doing so well on pre-orders is because it's Christina, and when people hear the song, they might not like it and might get rid of it.

Don't be so quick to respond, young James. ^_^

All Xtina's stans will have pre-ordered long ago, I think one can assume that anyone pre-ordering at this point has heard the song

She's #35 on TV airplay, which admittedly isn't amazing, but it's passable. She's also #38 on djcharly's airplay chart. Now obviously whether you find his chart to be reliable or not is entirely up to you but I personally do. Anyway - that's not a huge amount of exposure, but I really don't think the pre-orders lie. The only time I've ever seen a pre-order not correlate to the actual chart performance is with adult contemporary acts like Lana Del Rey and Rumer, who both underperformed based on the expectations their pre-order success gave us. 'Your Body' certainly doesn't fit into that bracket

Interestingly, Your Body has gotten about as high on pre-orders as Anything Could Happen did, and that was a top 5 in a very competitive week. I don't expect Xtina to do as well as that but it's food for thought!

Fair enough. You have made a good argument. We'll see what happens when it comes out. :D

Hoped Steps would be top 100 :kink: again after the performance on This Morning :(

Can anyone tell me where Misha is on pre-orders now? I can't check it at the moment! Would be grateful!

#55 (fallen back behind Sub Focus who's up to #53).

FFS! DAMN BRUNO MARS. If it was to be 'Young Girls' that defeated Little Mix, I could possibly let it pass, but not 'Locked Out Of Heaven' which i find to be just pretty good. (Which isnt good enough for Bruno for me - i prefer everything from his debut over that). 'DNA' Is my second fave song of this year. Really hope it can properly smash 'Bad Boys' style!
JLS 'falling at a comical rate'

Where is the "comical rate" guy btw? I was expecting him to be all over the thread this week stanning for Wiley/Skepta/JME. :( I feel a bit alone now lol.

Calvin Harris back down to #12 now. Although they still go that TV performance to come I think.

Robbie Williams has managed to start re-climbing after his appearance on Graham Norton climbing from 90.2% up to 96.9%, should hopefully pass 100,000 sales with that small but significant boost!

12. Calvin Harris & Tinie Tempah - Drinking From The Bottle

19. Jls - Hottest Girl In The World (I can only see this spending #04 weeks top 40 tbh, it should take another drop to around #30 next week, especially with new entries)

21. Rita Ora - Shine Ya Light

22. Paloma Faith - Never Tear Us Apart

29. Nicki Minaj - Va Va Voom

37. Pink - Try

Lee, why would a lad like you be interested in iTunes?!

It's very confusing. What would your mates think?

So proud of Rita...i dont like this song as much as the others but for the sake of video, i hope she reaches nr.1...she is promoting Kosovo more than our government:lol:

I haven't heard Your Body AT ALL. I haven't bothered to go searching for it myself, and I haven't heard it on any advert, TV or radio station.

I've seen it quite often on several of the Sky music channels, but its only appearance (so far) on the radio airplay chart was 1 week at #100, the week before last. :(

59p songs in the top 100:

 26 Jay-Z & Kanye West - Ni**as In Paris

Is it just me, or would this song not have been as successful if the artist had been Nick Griffin?

Well, obviously. It's not unusual for black people to make fun out of themselves, so I don't know why you don't understand this.

Have you ever thought it was about time you gave this one a rest?

Does Lee not have the right to be interested in iTunes? Who cares what his mates think?

It just seems a bit weird that a 'stereotypical lad' would have an interest in iTunes. Ah well, it's his choice, I guess.

Ahhh, but that's what makes everyone different. He may share the same interests as most 'lads', but also be interested in other things like pop bars. :D
