Haha great to see the original version of The Power of Love doing well too - the xmas songs are coming.

Is there any reason why this is doing so well compared to last years Slow Moving Millie last year that kept rising up to 21 from 45 last year every weekend but didnt peak very high in the top 40?

So is this correct for this weekends live music performances -

Alan Carr - The Killers - Miss Atomic Bomb

Graham Norton - Rod Stewart - Something from his xmas album??

J Ross - Psy - Gangham Style

XF - Ed Sheeran - Give me Love (who else is on XF)?

Jeez...all 3 of them, Ed better do a great performance to steal the limelight there - or he could be a no doubt rather than a robbie/labrinth!

Ohhh hopefully we'll see a rise for The Killers. It's a great song! I'm hoping for at least Top 40 for Miss Atomic Bomb!

Think the killers are one of them artists that a performance will make their album sell more rather than the single, though id love to see them in the top 40 singles again.

Im really looking forward to seeing whos on the XF final this year - they seem to try and have one rock act these days to make it respectable!

How do enough people even know Gabrielle Aplin exists for her to be doing this well?! (Up to #32). If 'Please Don't Say You Love Me' is anything to go by she's extremely boring.

The indie blogosphere absolutely loves her; she was even touted as the female Ed Sheeran by quite a few people at one point.

I thought that was more Nina Nesbitt what with her being Ed's real life GF and all.

Gabrielle is now up to 17, the boost possibly due to the TV premiere of the John Lewis advert about an hour ago on C4! :D

I think she will stall at 16 due to the massive gap, but hopefully she will somehow close the gap up! She's still doing incredibly though! I don't think Slow Moving Millie got this high at any point?

Slow Moving Millie only peaked top 30 on the official chart IIRC? I like it, but I'm not completely sold on it yet, but the John Lewis advert will surely get the song to worm its way into my brain soon enough that I will have to love it.

I've heard Miss Atomic Bomb numerous times on the radio over the last two days! I'd be surprised if it doesn't at least go top 40 on Itunes, although Runaways got the same radio support and didn't peak very highly, they clearly have the radio support, but it seems it just doesn't equate to massive singles chart success.

Heart Vacancy is one of their best for me! :( I know it's typical boyband fodder but I really like it. Glad You Came is easily their very best though!

I Found You is one of their worst, it's alright but didn't last long in my affections and it's a blatant attempt at recreating Chasing The Sun which in turn seemed to be released out of desperation for another Glad You Came.

Agreed. I really like Glad You Came and a few other of their singles but it's seems pretty desperate to keep releasing songs because they sound like Glad You Came.

Bit strange that Rod Stewart is performing Have yourself a merry little Christmas on Graham Norton now - bit early even if his new album is out on monday!!

Yeah its alisted on radio 1 so its been played a fair bit this week(impact date next week) - not top 100 on itunes yet though!

XF - Ed Sheeran - Give me Love (who else is on XF)?

Apparently One Direction will be performing on both Saturday AND Sunday. "Little Things" might have the chance of entering top 10.

61. DJ Fresh - Gold Dust

66. Ne-Yo - Forever Now

131. fun. - Carry On

184. Miguel - Adorn

192. Usher - Numb - This seems to have flopped massively. He should release Lemme See as his next single, it's the catchiest song on his album

198. The Script - Six Degrees of Separation

212. Carly Rae Jepsen - The Kiss

305. Ne-Yo ft. Tim McGraw - She Is

625. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft. Wanz - Thrift Shop

1034. Plan B ft. Labrinth - Playing With Fire - I hope this can go top 1000.

BOTH nights, what gives them that right?

If they dont go top 10 with the new one that will be terrible!

Numb only got playlisted on 1 Xtra! That new Fun track is quite good too, hope its a third top 40 hit.

Plan b should go top 100 when radio 1 alist it, its not out until 3rd december!

Numb got playlisted by Capital aswell I think. It's not a very interesting song imo, but it's at least better than Scream. It's flopped nearly everywhere in the world, strangely, even though it's certainly very European-friendly and also US-friendly. He needs to release something much better as a 4th single, like Can't Stop Won't Stop, but I think he might not bother now, as he has the new song with Ludacris and David Guetta out.
