But No Doubt aren't even a girl band

...sorry!

#104. Melanie C - I Know Him So Well (feat. Emma Bunton)

#285. Melanie C - I Know Him So Well (feat. Emma Bunton)

 Glad their Loose Women performance gave this a good boost. Hope that top version makes the Top 100.

#93 and #255 now

Despite One Direction missing a days sales a combined lead of 40% may be too much to overcome tbh!

#26. A Thousand Years

#133. A Thousnad Years, Pt.2 (feat. Steve Kazee)

#530. A Thousand Years

Will these be combined? I would think so and that should mean "A Thousand Years" will get a new peak  It might be able to go top 20 if it's reduced or the Pt.2 version climbs more (it's still climbing).

I'm thinking they won't be, because of the changes in the song and the featured credit, it's not like a remix would be. The only other examples I could think of were 'Airplanes' & 'Love The Way You Lie' which we aren't sure about I don't think, and 'Read All About It Pt.3' but I don't think that's a great one to compare with, at least 'A Thousand Years' has the same lead artist.
Yeah I would be inclined to say they'll be separated but it's a bit of a unique case.

'Give Me Love' has a strong chance of official top 20 then, absolutely fantastic for a single off a million-plus selling album and released over a year after the album. If only the same could happen with Coldplay's 'Hurts Like Heaven' which is still doing nothing.

And 'Ride' looks like it will outpeak 'Blue Jeans' :D  another place to #29.

I don't think it will - Ride was quite frontloaded in Ireland so I'd expect the same in the UK. The only thing I can see saving Ride is Radio 1 A-list play kicking in keeping her somewhat steady. It does have a second version at #105 and an EP though so maybe I'm being pessimistic. I'll wait till the midweeks come in to judge.

Airplanes, Part II and Love the Way You Lie, Part II weren't available for download (much to my dismay). However, a piano ballad version of Love the Way You Lie, Part II was available for download accidentally for a couple of days, and it charted top 200 officially, which means they weren't combined.

However, I think it just depends. I know the Part 2 version has a different title and a featured credit, but that applied to Gettin' Over and Gettin' Over You, and they got combined. I think maybe the record label can specify to the OCC whether it's a "remix" or a different track.

I hope they are combined, as they are pretty much the same song, one with a feature, one without. Leona had "Trouble (feat Childish Gambino)", "Trouble" and "Trouble (Acoustic)" and they all got combined. So I'm hoping this is the same case, despite one being Pt.2. I just want it to get a new peak :(
1D have still been out for less than 48 hours, they'll need to have held that lead this time tomorrow to be in with a chance. Surprised to see Little Mix overtake Bruno though, that for now is still the real battle for #1. Could we have a "Price Tag" situation where the eventual #1 isn't there on iTunes all week?

I've already prepared myself for another poor UK no. 1 so let One Direction have their moment. Once Little Mix's album is released next week, the cherry pickings off the album should hopefully keep 'DNA' remain high up the charts for a few weeks.

'Little Things' is just so incredibly twee. It's the musical equivalent of eating sugar.

where is Michael Andrews ft Gary Jules - Mad World on itunes now? it was number 1 on the day i was born.

i dont like the song very much and i cant believe it was the song people liked the most in december 2003

I can't either, alias of MarkGrist Legend. Sad really.

Just for the record Tasty Mucus was not an alias of me, he is my little brother.

Now that i've cleared that up.......

Sneakbo at #55 is 54 places lower than he should be

One thing i've noticed over the past few weeks is that Gangnam Style always reaches new heights on itunes on Saturday Nights getting to about #2 or #3 most of the time.
