I meant this week but yea it's probably less. Still 15k-ish I think.

And I have two words: Spirit Indestructible

Compared to that she's totally smashing

 Poor Nelly, I think that's probably the biggest flop I've ever seen. :(

Christina has outsold that album's total sales in a day!

This album would beg to differ.

I think a new chart fan saying is developing. Whenever a persons fave flops/underperforms they could just say "Yeah... bit at least they're not Nelly!" :D

Hi Can anyone help me with Kylie's sales figures and positions in todays midweeks for Flower and Abbey Road Sessions?

Cheers

Wow at those album sales for OneD, and they're going for #1 with a day less than the competition. Crazy!
No, it's not. I think there record is over 100k.

EDIT: The highest I am aware of is Steps' Heartbeat/Tragedy with 104,780: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...st+weekly+sales

Thanks for that. :D

Didn't that Cuban Boys song sell over 104,000 in its first week though?

I think that All Saints' Never Ever sold over 100k in the week of Christmas 1997 as well. ^_^

But she recorded it in her kitchen

Actually shocked at Christina's flop. :o It's not really common for big name artists to have two flop albums in a row, is it?

Is it really that shocking? If she had a hit single or did heavy promo, it would be shocking, but Your Body didn't even make the top 100 on radio and she hasn't promoted her albums since 2006? so people have moved on from her.

More on this tomorrow afternoon, when the first update is due in from Radio 1, and welcome to the forum.

Anyone know if A*M*E's "Play the Game Boy" is anywhere?

I've been loving it for yonks but forgot it was out this week & just noticed iTunes had auto-downloaded my pre-order :w00t:

She seems to have had a lot of good press & I think she's on Barry Garlow's label.

Generally when a 'big name artist' has a flop album that's a sign they're not a big name artist any more.

I don't think that track will make the 40 somehow and we only get top 40 updates, your best bet is to try twitter tomorrow, failing that hang on till Sunday and see if the track charts top 100

but people have todays update? surely we can get some Kylie figures? how many physicals she sold? 3k? needs the Children In Need on Friday which will show highlights of her Proms in Park, and then appearing on Strictly Come Dancing at the weekedn which will be great promo

70k for first day sales are very good even in previous years 70k first day would be big.

Obviously it will be frontloaded but they should sill be looking at 140k+

Looks like Kylie is performing The Locomotion on Strictly.... not Flower.... maybe both?

Perhaps Kylie is more interested in selling the album than the single Flower, so by performing a version of a song people may not have heard, it would attract more people to buy the album.

There is still the Royal Variety Performance next Monday where she could sing Flower.

Yes definately is...... the album struggling this week, but will pci kup sales over the weekend again.... Just gets on my nerves that she is not releasing these singles correctly...... why is the CD physical release on the 12th November rather than when the song was Alisted on radio etc... I am sure it was this date to co-incide with her strictly promo but then she isnt performing it..... oh well.... who knows!!! royal variety god knows... i thought On a Night Like This was the next single so it could be that!!!!!! for the next single i would like to see 2 x CD singles with good Bsides maybe WOW orchestral style of a live Proms version..... add a fw digi bundles.... etc..... and release it on a Monday all together dowlnloads and physicals

Not surprised at 1D opening sales - People have been coming into work and buying SIX copies [!!] - They have been buying the HMV exclusive individual album cover sleeves and the yearbook edition

I hope Bruno Mars is no longer number 1 in this wednesday's midweeks. http://z1.ifrm.com/2500/118/0/e15754//e15754.gif

Little Mix or One Direction look more likely to get the top spot on sunday! :yahoo:
