So Gabrielle is on course to do at least 65k? :o what's the highest sale for #4 charting song? (1D will overtake by tomorrow).

Someone on UKMIX claimed that...

It's just overtaken Bruno on iTunes but is now behind 1D. In the actual midweeks it's about 5k behind Bruno at No.2. I expect 1D will overtake as the week goes on and claim No.1, so depends if LM can pull away as to whether they get the No.2 spot or No.3.

They've already done 35k though so the sales will definitely be very respectable.

1. Bruno Mars (5k ahead)

2. Little Mix (35k)

So it's No.3 in the midweeks, a whopping 16k behind Bruno. However, they are outselling him by a fair margin now, I think they could close the gap and claim No.1.... could be close though!

Annoying that they had a day less of sales, don't understand that decision.

They also suggest 1D is at #3 instead of Gabrielle Alpin.

3. One Direction (16k behind Bruno Mars)

No.1 UK midweeks, already passed the 70,000 mark.

"Take Me Home" has already sold 70k.

Oh dear God at Christina. I was so sure this album would outstrip Bionic but at this stage it will be lucky to sell half what that did.

Is that the highest sale for a #4 ever?

Because I don't think it is...

I wonder the top 3 singles will break 100k at the end of the week.

70k for "Take Me Home" :o that's huge its probably including pre-orders so I pretty much expect it to sell less towards the end of the week, probably around 165k plus for the week, which beats their debut album sales of 139k (first week of sale).

1D's album will be incredibly frontloaded as per everything by them but even so will probably beat the opening sales of their debut if it's done 70k on day 1.

I'm just surprised that LWWY hasn't done better. I mean it opened with great sales but hasn't really taken off.

So I agree with you, TMH will probably drop quite a lot next week BUT there will loads of promo to come I presume and a new single so 500k shouldn't be a problem when the campaign is over.

Top 20 is good for Xtina as it's very busy week. It'll sell something like 20k probably. Not bad imo considering Bionic really bombed after its debut week.

Brilliant for 1D. After the underperformance of 'Live While We're Young' I wasn't expecting it to beat the debut at all, especially with how low album sales have been at times (and the debut was released even closer to Christmas iirc). I guess it helps that 'Little Things' looks to be doing a lot better than 'Gotta Be You'.

With 4.5k sold in the first day, we're probably looking at more 12k ish.

Christina just isn't as popular with the UK as she once was. TBH i don't think she's been as popular since 2006/07. So her flopping is not really a suprise to me :(

I think he means in total, although that would seem a bit low (I'd say 30k, provided none of the future singles take off + she doesn't promote).

Actually shocked at Christina's flop. :o It's not really common for big name artists to have two flop albums in a row, is it?

I meant this week but yea it's probably less. Still 15k-ish I think.

And I have two words: Spirit Indestructible

Compared to that she's totally smashing
