Woo! Girls Aloud finally on the A-list. :cheer: Good to see Bruno Mars, Coldplay and Olly Murs in there too. Stooshe already out? :manson:

HUZZAH for Figure 8! I'm so excited for that, I hope it can be her first proper post-album hit.

Fabulous for Lana to hang on to A-list too. 3 weeks C-list for Ke$ha makes it pretty obvious to me that she's never going to move up :( Oh well, it'd probably bomb either way. Great to see Rita and Justin/Nicki out.

Surprised at Gabreille Aplin, and straight onto B-list too, what's all that about! No other surprises this week really.

It's not - it's been completely bombing on pre-orders and I think it's going to be a massive flop. If it does end up smashing then I'm sure they'll move it up but as of right now I don't see demand for the song.

Dull playlist. Yay for Coldplay adding a 932nd R1 A-Listed song + Olly Murs, Plan B and The xx moving up. Ed Sheeran still only on the B-List? Hopefully A-List next week now it's a hit but I'm surprised it's not there already.

Brilliant to see 'Matilda' being re-released / properly released (it was the B-Side to 'Fitzpleasure' IIRC but R1 only playlisted 'Matilda' first time around for some reason), still my favourite Δ song so would love to see it become a third top 100 hit for them after their Mercury-related slight profile boost. Woo for Ben Howard and Foals getting playlisted and Willy Moon re-playlisted, although the chances of 'Yeah Yeah' becoming a proper hit a la 'Too Close' seem slim now it's plummeted on iTunes despite still being 59p.

Pitbull being playlisted is a bit of a WTF moment - the past few years they've only playlisted 'Give Me Everything' and 'International Love' from him and even then only after they became hits. This one doesn't even have a major feature and yet they're eagerly playlisting it straight away? It's not exactly likely to be a huge hit either, it's doing quite poorly in the USA. Bizarre.

Hope you're right, the airplay hasn't been very high (minimal Capital support might not make much difference), but i'd still be very surprised if it missed the Top 5/10

I think Ke$ha will still make #4 or so with 'Die Young', but it's a shame they don't seem keen on moving it up.

YAY for Ellie Goulding, I love that song and am very glad it's the next single. I guess Pitbull isn't releasing that monstrosity featuring Miss Aguilera which is based around 'Take On Me' next afterall?

I guess we can officially classify Stooshe's new single a flop. As I predicted all along, they ARE the new The 411.

There's still a couple more playlists before Ke$ha is released, I'm pretty sure she'll move up to at least B. It's doing very well in the US so I'd be surprised if it were to bomb and it isn't like she hasn't had success before. That said, Taylor Swift is already on the B-list (YAY) and is 'released' the week after Ke$ha, although being a post-album single it's slightly different.

The fact it's top 10 on iTunes and will be top 10 officially come Sunday? Though we do seem to be getting more straight to B-list additions recently.

B-List

MONSTA - Holdin' On (Skrillex & Nero Remix)

Keep seeing Willy Moon on radio playlists and iTunes charts and getting massively excited before realising it is Willy Moon, and not the returning Willy Mason. :(
Not listed here, but it's fantastic to see a wonderful young Derry based singer/songwriter on the Introducing Playlist. Well done to SOAK, hopefully it'll be the first of many playlistings for her.
Yes for Gabrielle! Straight to B list! And Taylor straight to B list too! :cheer: Glad to see Ellie playlisted as well! :D

Disclosure and the vaccines will be removed from the playlist next week i think.

Fun will go up to the A list and Kesha will go up to the B list.

Probably Rihanna's Diamonds and possibly Lana Del Rey's Ride (if the latter isn't next week, then it certainly will be the following week).

Gutted that Misha is off, but grateful it was even playlisted in the first place! Also share the Lana support. She'll probably become a staple for a while i can imagine.
