It is so similar to the Who You Are cover, just without the hair, less make up and a new logo, even her facial expression is similar
What even is that facial expression anyway? It's not Pixie Lott bad but it could look better.
That's like the worst album cover I've ever seen. She just looks HORRID on it.

Excuse you?

Basic covers like that sometimes work, but that... just doesn't. It needs something else on it, but meh. OK. The music will be better, I imagine, if she sticks to the It's My Party sound.
If she keeps to the Its My Party sound, then this album should be forbidden.
I like the singles well enough but I'm not excited for this at all really. I'll listen to it, but this reeks of doing a Young Foolish Happy quality wise (Llike Davidson said, the sales won't dive THAT much though). I jut hope there are songs that aren't rip-offs but capture the essence of Jessie, which was what I loved about Who You Are.

What even IS the "essence of Jessie"? I feel like that's one of her biggest problems, that she doesn't have a signature sound. Her singles from the first album were all over the place and felt like a contrived attempt to jump on ANY sound that had been popular in recent years, rather than any authentic statement of who she was as an artist. A popstar being a "jack of all trades but master of none" might be good in the short term since it gives them a load of instant radio-friendly hits, but in the long run it means they don't carve out any niche in the market for themselves. Rita Ora will probably run into the same problems before long.

Though, even though I do think she was always going to have this big fundamental problem this era, the horrible lead singles haven't helped of course. I still can't get over quite how horrendously awful 'It's My Party' is.

Pretty terrible artwork. It's alright for the advert thing we saw a couple of days ago (I assumed it was a promo image) but my at all for an album cover. Really not a flattering picture, it's not QUITE as bad as the constipated look Pixie Lott had on the YFH cover

Just stumbled across 'Excuse My Rude' and I love it! :) Faith partially restored in the album.

Also, 'Magnetic' is my favourite song so far from this era. Much better than the 2 singles, shame it's only a soundtrack song :(

The Tracklist

1. 'Wild' feat. Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean

2. 'Spotlight'

3. 'Calling All Hearts' feat. Robin Thicke

4. 'It's My Party'

5. 'Excuse My Rude' feat. Becky G

6. 'V.I.P.' feat. T-Pain

7. 'Square One'

8. 'Conquer the World' feat. Brandy

9. 'Fierce'

10. 'Daydreaming'

11. 'Paper, Scissors, Stone'

12. 'Strip' feat. Tinie Tempah

13. 'Breathe Again'

I bet there'll be a deluxe edition, which includes the soundtracks too

omg that cover! The hoops look SO out of place there. I want to just RIP THEM OFF.

She looks tired and like she has bags under her eyes. It also annoys me slightly how her face isn't quite in the middle of the cover. And in addition to what everyone else has mentioned, this era already seems like a nightmare. Let's not even get started on 'It's My Party'... :puke2:

And the "Alive" in 'sincere' writing just looks crap.

Oh come on, it may not be a great cover but I think people are going a little over the top :kink:

The features are giving me hope that this will be more in the urban direction I really want from her rather than full of songs like 'It's My Party'.
