November 23, 201213 yr Alexandra Burke's version of Hallelujah is probably the worst song I've ever heard and one of the few that I can't listen to all the way through. I GUESS I'll give that a by because as a song itself in other versions, its gorgeous. This is quite hard, there are some songs I dislike but I find it hard to name a worst ever. I guess the overrated turd that is Bleeding Love would always be up there. Never had I heard such a melody-free piece o'shite that somehow everyone goes crazy over. I also agree with the subsequent shouts for Rockstar & Single Ladies, throw in Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston as well. This hate for indie club songs :( not that I'm an experienced clubber, but a lot of songs mentioned never fail to make everyone go mental Edited November 23, 201213 yr by C.W
November 23, 201213 yr Oh, and the worst songs of 2012 in my opinion have to be Owl City's Good Time and Rita Ora's Shine Ya Light. Those songs make me feel nauseous when I hear them. :puke: I tried to listen to Shine Ya Light earlier but it's a wonder that my ears are still here. :( I love 'Good Time' :( But I'm fully with you on 'Shine Ya Light', my worst song of the year without a doubt.
November 23, 201213 yr throw in Beautiful Girls by Sean Kingston as well. Yes. Diabolical! I just thankfully never come across it.
November 23, 201213 yr JLS - The Club is Alive Had the misfortune of hearing this earlier today, i almost forgot just how horrific it actually is! There's probably even worse songs than this, but i shan't bother looking for them ^_^
November 23, 201213 yr This hate for indie club songs :( not that I'm an experienced clubber, but a lot of songs mentioned never fail to make everyone go mental that's half the problem right there! it's just really f***ing annoying.
November 23, 201213 yr How could anyone like/not mind Supermassive Black Hole?! It's so pointless and boring... there's literally no soul to it at all. I could think of about a thousand more indie rock songs that are better - Supermassive Black Hole is absolutely diabolical in every sense. Horrible. And The Club Is Alive is amazing! It's one of my favourite JLS songs, believe it or not! :D
November 23, 201213 yr How could anyone like/not mind THE CLUB IS ALIVE should be your question. Probably the worst sample I've heard ever.

Horrible. One of my favourite Muse songs! There's something romantic/epic in singing about a black hole - and it has an EXCELLENT beat.
November 23, 201213 yr How could anyone like/not mind THE CLUB IS ALIVE should be your question. Probably the worst sample I've heard ever. I just like the beat of the song! I'm not a big fan of JLS (She Makes Me Wanna = :puke:) but it's a different song from them and I just really like it for some reason. :P It's my third favourite, after Eyes Wide Shut in first place and One Shot in second place.
November 23, 201213 yr But 'She Makes Me Wanna' is their best song! :o And yes to Rockstar, Bleeding Love and Beautiful Girls :puke:
November 23, 201213 yr Gangnam Style. 3:39 mins of noise  :puke: :puke2: Edited November 23, 201213 yr by Pablo Escobar
November 23, 201213 yr Gangnam Style http://i3.kym-cdn.com/entries/icons/original/000/011/113/killyourselves.png Gangnam Style is amazing! Even though the joke has worn thin, I still hear people from all generations talking about it every day and it's going to be one of the biggest cultural phenomenons of the 21st century in my opinion.
November 23, 201213 yr omg you three NAILED it re: mr. brightside. and harve you shouldn't go to ABC at ALL this is all x Erm MONDAY. That is all. (we can certainly make exceptions. but no to 'Propaganda') Edited November 23, 201213 yr by Harve
November 23, 201213 yr I don't think it is personally, but when it was released The Time (Dirty Bit) was hailed as one of the worst songs ever  Indie songs at clubs are the WORST. Sex On Fire / Mr Brightside / Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor need to die. But it's so cool to dance to AMAZIN bands like Arctic Monkeys and not Nicki Minaj. (I agree they have to die).
November 23, 201213 yr Erm MONDAY. That is all. (we can certainly make exceptions. but no to 'Propaganda') well you're allowed to go for gigs DUH (and especially this one which will be life-affirming omg  so excited) PROPAGANDA UGH. been there done that wish i didn't ETC. :( even jellybaby at ABC is better and that's a full-to-the-brim, 30 minute bar queue, chart hits HOT MESS.
November 23, 201213 yr I don't think it is personally, but when it was released The Time (Dirty Bit) was hailed as one of the worst songs ever  Eric Blob doesn't think so! Yay! Go BEPs!!!!!!!!!! Everybody loves you!!! :) I'm so proud of our country at the moment. Thanks to everybody who has downloaded the track in the past 48(?) hours. The BEPS have suffered lots of ridicule, lots of persecution in the past, but they've stood strong, and now they're #1 on iTunes, yet again, where they deserve to be. Love you all so much. Thanks, BEPs, for making my life so happy. I can't think of anybody more deserving to be at #1 on UK iTunes at this moment in time. :) I'm so happy, for the BEPs, for our nation who're loving their song. There's thousands, and thousands, and thousands of songs on iTunes, but it's The Time people are buying the most. The Time is being bough more than ANY OTHER SONG EVERY CREATED at this moment in time. I think this is a testement to how absolutely phenomenal the Black Eyed Peas are. I honestly thought, after Meet Me Halfway, I'd never see them at #1 on UK iTunes ever again, but thank you so much guys for making this possible. They deserve it so much. I've noticed ever since their song has been released, everybody in the country, heck, everybody in the world, has just been so much happier. In these days of mourning and despair, I'm very greatful to the Black Eyed Peas, for making music that uplifts me. Music that makes me happy. Music that makes me laugh. I love them so much, and congratulations on yet another spectacular achievemt. I'm so proud of you BEPs!!!!   No, I'm not crying. Honestly. Pardon? November 23, 201213 yr That post has reminded me of the song they beat to number 1 - Whip My Hair. Most definitely one of the worst things I've ever heard.
