Cool Vibes was *.* but MNO was v much deserved. Which says a lot given how strong the competition was that year!

Been educating my mate with past Eurovision winners and while he can understand previous winners, he struggles to comprehend Latvia's victory in 2002. It is indeed bloody terrible! Like an even shitter "She Bangs".

I hope next year the BBC offer us a few singers to select the winner from and also then have a round where we select the song because they have failed on one or both of those aspects for over 10 years now...

Id also like to see a bit of welsh sang at eurovision!

The video clip shown to show the big 5 entries last night i felt the UK song does not sound good by snippet, i dont think it would have grabbed anyones attention unless it was a its a Bonnie Tyler look. It is certainly a song that needs to be heard in its entirety.

I wonder which other years THERE ARE LEFT.

I'm sick of everyone saying we'll be bottom 5. I actually think we'll be Top 10. Confidence folks!!

Getting your hopes up WAY too high... okay :D Just don't start complaining at how Eurovision is ALL POLEETEEKAHL after Bonnie finishes 20th with 59 points.

For comparison, here's the last 10 entries who performed 15th and the results:

2012: Denmark, 23rd with 21 points.

2011: Moldova, 12th with 97 points.

2010: Albania, 16th with 62 points.

2009: Estonia, 6th with 129 points.

2008: Sweden, 18th with 47 points.

2007: Russia, 3rd with 207 points.

2006: United Kingdom, 19th with 25 points.

2005: Macedonia, 17th with 52 points.

2004: Macedonia, 14th with 47 points.

2003: United Kingdom, 26th with 0 points.

Every time I hear the song, mostly on Radio 2, I like it more and think it deserves to go at least Top 10.

Most people will be hearing the song for the first time (apart from the clips from Semifinals - but then again not everyone watches Semis either) so I wouldn't count on the 'grower' factor too much.

Little Boots tweeted that she would be up for doing it next year and Graham Norton replied saying she'd get the call. They'll still probably go for another dated act though.
They really need to do another show where we get to choose an act, Andrew Lloyd Webber did it well with Jade!
The way you chose Dubovie? :D
To be honest I think we just need some better songwriters and the BBC to take a more serious approach. Jade Ewen was a complete nobody going into Eurovision yet we got our best postion for the last ten years. I feel like we just need people who UNDERSTAND Eurovision to take control.
