Is that the new Killers Christmas song that is appearing on the chart? If so i hope it can buck the trend of some of the their Christmas efforts which failed to chart.

Wizzard, Slade, Band Aid and a few other Xmas songs are about to drop to 59p according to the iTunes front page :cheer:

Oh, they are doing this again. Seriously hope it's not a repeat of last year with Mariah getting a reduction while The Pogues remain at full price. It probably will be though :( Ah well, hopefully it'll at least see Slade in the top 40 again.

Amazing how well Taylor Swift is doing, she has done so incredibly well this era in the UK! Possible #1? At least top 3 i'd say. Probably will have similar longevity to her last single.

 13. Tulisa - Sight of You

 47. Tulisa - Sight of You

#11 combined.

Brilliant won't be troubling the top 10 then

Tulisa still #11 combined. Top 10 isn't going to happen. :(
How comes I Knew You Were Trouble is climbing so much? Has the video premiered or something?

It's getting played on Capital like ALL the time now.

It wasn't in the top 200, I know that for sure. (I checked it right after her performance). She was really good. I hope Alicia does really well with the album! Things are looking great so far.

Me too. She's so much better than most of the other female pop stars imo, and it's great how she stays true to herself.

I don't think it's very likely that it will get Top 3, but definitely Top 10. Remember when everyone said Flo Rida's I Cry would be number one with massive sales? Yeah... :P

 But I never thought that :P Really? Its nearly top 10 though without a video at a competitive time. I think top 3 in January is more than likely, I guess we'll see ;)

It probably won't be as big as I Cry because I Cry got top 10 on iTunes BEFORE being playlisted on either Radio 1 or Capital FM, and before getting a music video.

I Knew You Were Trouble. is already in very high rotation on both stations.

Quite a lot of songs get into the top 10 on iTunes off just Capital and Radio 1 airplay and no music video (e.g. Pound the Alarm). What Flo Rida did was just mind-blowing, I still don't fully understand it tbh. It was playlisted by Kiss FM at the time though, maybe that station has more impact on the chart than we think.

Scream & Shout  #149

Glad it's been brought forward, but it's up against the X Factor next week now. :banghead:

Maybe if Chris wins, Will and Britney might have a chance! :kink:

I wonder if Taylor will be able to sneak into the top 10 (iTunes) this week with I Knew You Were Trouble, at least she will get her 3rd top twenty hit this week! She should be working on the video for I Knew You Were Trouble, it could really help the album over the festive period.

17. Tulisa - Sight Of You

20. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas

27. The Pogues - Fairytale Of Newyork

36. Angel - Time After Time

67. Taylor Swift - Love Story (I can't believe how this has performed over the past two months since being 59p, It's no doubt gathered an extra 15,000+ sales.

73. Kelly Clarkson - Catch My Breath (At least this should climb next week with an xFactor performance)

95. Ellie Goulding - Figure 8

131. Tulisa - Live Your Life

141. Will.i.am & Britney Spears - Scream & Shout

36. Angel - Time After Time

Thought this would have performed better as it was released in a quiet week and on the back of a big hit single - The only reason it managed to climb into the Top 40 was because the record company reduced it to 59p :(

That sounds great to me

The Killers - I Can Feel It In My Bones  to #41.

Hope they can get Top 40 with this. I don't know why The Killers Christmas singles don't do very well. They still have a solid fan base here in the UK, you'd think they'd get Top 40 with their festive offerings, but there you go. People would rather download old Christmas songs because there are too many people too scared to try something new.

I'm surprised it's doing as well as it is to be honest, there was approximately no buzz for it. It's a poor track. 'Wonderful' seems to be a fluke from him both in terms of quality and success. I'd be more than happy for him to remain a one hit wonder, it's a great song to be a single hit. Would be amusing if 'Time Adter Time' peaked at #41 :P

"Scream & Shout" is charting based on pre-orders.

Indeed, it is released on this coming Sunday - still up against the XF winner!
