I'm surprised she's *only* #10 though, given that she's been no lower than #6 on iTunes for 4-5 days! :(

I'm really enjoying 'The Power Of Love' at the moment. Sometimes I find the ballads like this quite dull and boring but this one is very nice!

This is a really overrated version IMHO :( James was SUPERB on last night's X Factor though :wub:

Is it widely available in hmv? Our one in belfast usually just has them beside the artists album rather than having a separate singles section!

Its so different from all the other traditional Christmas songs, its broody and atmospheric and they lyrics refer to Pentecost more than Christmas. But I just adore it. There is the tinsel, the smaltz, the cheese and its all great and then there is this little bit of epicness tucked in.

no, i thought you meant Frankie GTH. Pogues/Kirsty was reissued i think due to the best of the pogues in 91, and because it was regarded as a classic, but IMHO the 87 TOTP perf was far better than the 92
