no, i thought you meant Frankie GTH. Pogues/Kirsty was reissued i think due to the best of the pogues in 91, and because it was regarded as a classic, but IMHO the 87 TOTP perf was far better than the 92

 

 

Yeah thought that was the reason anyway. Yeah i have a cd version from 2005 with the totps 1987 performance which is epic - think simon mayo introduced it as having risen from 6-2 that week!!

Diamonds just won't get old for me. I like it as much as Russian Roulette but it's different because it's actually sort of uplifting. She did an amazing performance on X Factor last Sunday, glad it's propelled it back into the top 3.
