The Perks of Being a Wallflower was shockingly good. Still so many left to see though - Argo, Life of Pi, Zero Dark Thirty, Silver Linings Playbook, Django Unchained etc.

omg forgot this too <3

The Perks I have downloaded somewhere but I'm still yet to actually see it. Excitement.

I've seen practically nothing this year HOW. Easy win for Moonrise Kingdom really and the only other two I can think of to mention are Cabin In The Woods and Argo. Quite sad.
I've not seen a single 2012 film yet.

Okay since this afternoon, this is now:

1. The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

It was GOOD. Charlie kinda riles me in the book so I'm glad.

I've seen quite a lot of films past year, especially after the summer.

These are my faves:

Cloud Atlas

Amour

Perks of being a wallflower

De rouille et d'os (Rust and bone)

The hunger games

Skyfall

Argo

Mine:

1. Skyfall

2. Batman: the Dark Knight Rises

3. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

4. Looper

5. Life Of Pi

Film of the year : Avengers

Great: Cabin In The Woods

Ted

The sapphires

Exotic Marigold Hotel

Good: a few others plus

Skyfall

Prometheus

Brave

There were lots of OK films, a lot animated ones fall into that category, most of the superhero blockbusters disappointed and fall into merely OK.

There were some real stinkers this year too, led by Battleship. The best thing about it was Rihanna, and she can't act properly. Everything else was awful. Bad script, nonsense logic, rubbish characters. My golden rule for movies holds true in almost every case (and sorry to the lovely actor concerned, and his fans) but if Liam's in it, I'm invariably going to dislike it. Hard to say why....

My top 10 of the year:

1 The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

2 The Hunger Games

3 Argo

4 Life Of Pi

5 The Intouchables

6 Clo Clo (My Way)

Edited my final list to include 'Life Of Pi'. Visually breathtaking and it's my favourite film to use the 3D so effectively, but the story was slow and bored me at times. Ain't got time to waste on slow things! :P
