461. Conor Maynard - Animal

The video for this premiered today.

The video version features Wiley, (and will available in the EP). Should give it an extra boost when it's released.

*Fifth - Read All About It (Part III) wasn't a single and Beneath You Beautiful and Wonder aren't officially her singles. That said, even for a fifth single it's doing alright, especially how well her album has done.

They're both on the deluxe version of her album, so they're her singles, even if they are shared.

And Read All About It charted in the top 5 and it will go down as one of the most popular songs of 2012.I'm sure most people regard it as a single, even if it wasn't officially designated as one.

Combined top ten (as of 0.7 hours ago):

1 James Arthur - Impossible 1.0000

2 will.i.am - Scream & Shout (feat. Britney Spears) 0.1250

3 Bruno Mars - Locked Out of Heaven 0.0938

4 Gabrielle Aplin - The Power of Love 0.0742

5 Olly Murs - Troublemaker (feat. Flo Rida) 0.0721

6 Rihanna - Diamonds 0.0576

7 One Direction - Little Things 0.0537

8 Labrinth - Beneath Your Beautiful (feat. Emeli Sande) 0.0508

9 Rihanna - Stay (feat. Mikky Ekko) 0.0496

10 One Direction - Kiss You 0.0466 :cheer:

I've never seen an 8-1 margin in the pop bars before! :o

I'm hoping for another top 10. "Animal" is one of the best songs on the album! :D

I agree with Read All About It (Part III) being classed as a single as it got everything a single got apart from a music video, just like Set Fire To The Rain. I don't agree about Beneath Your Beautiful as they belong to other people, and she just features on them.

It's been done before though or even bested. It's just that we've never had the actual figures.

Leona's "A Moment Like This" got downloaded 50,000 times in the first 30 minutes of availablity and I believe Alexandra and Matt Cardle also had big leads. But we didn't have Kworb's site then, so would estimate off the actual bars.

I'm rather excited by this week. The song looks to be surpassing nearly everyone's predicitons :cheer:

I suspect it's flattered somewhat by the relatively low sales of the competition, though.

'RAAI(PIII)' didn't get sent to radio as a proper single like 'SFTTR' (the airplay it got was just a reaction to it jumping into the charts - I think that's the case anyway, correct me if I'm wrong!) I wouldn't consider it a single regardless of how well it did and 'Beneath Your Beautiful' is DEFINITELY not a single from 'OVOE', it was tacked onto the 'special edition' because she features on it and it's a hit, that doesn't make it her single when it was released to promote Labrinth's album. 'Wonder' is more of a grey area as it wasn't featured on an album before the special edition of 'Our Version Of Events' (plus the fact that Emeli sings all the vocals on it). 'Clown' is a 5th single or arguably 6th at a push, in my opinion.

Regardless of what number single it is though, it's not doing too badly considering the album is more or less a million seller and was released close to a year ago. I still had a bad feeling it'd climb to #5 or something ridiculous after her X Factor performance though and I'm glad it hasn't :P

Stay at 7 COMBINED!

And James show to LM how it's done!

100% VS. 10% now!

Woah at James' lead! Love that Stay has made top 10 too  Love it, one of Rihanna's best vocal songs. When should we expect the video?

It did more for Emeli's album than Labrinth's though :kink:

But I agree with you.

There's lots of songs which appear on the feature artists albums like Sweat is on David Guetta's album, and Turn Me On is on Nicki's album, and We Found Love is on Calvin's album, and Heartbreaker is on Cheryl's album and Break It Off is on Rihanna's album, and Miami 2 Ibiza is on Tinie's album, and so on. I always count collaborations for all artists credited for obvious reasons, but I don't usually count them as the "nth single" from the album.

 11. Kiss You - One Direction

I wouldn't mind seeing this kick Ke$ha's awful dirge out of the top 10.

Ergh same. How far is it? Two OneD songs and two Rihanna songs in top 10 :o Is Kiss You video out?

James Arthur - 1.0000

will.i.am - 0.1200

If 'Scream & Shout' was heading for 60k this week, then James Arthur - judging from the Kworb updates - is likely to sell at least 7 times as many copies.

So 60k x 7 = 420,000

'Impossible' looks likely to sell more than double what 'Cannonball' sold this time last year.

James' lead is going to start plummeting any minute. There's no way he can sustain outselling will.i.am 10-to-1 for more than a day or so.

Still for him to even get there is impressive, regardless how long it lasts. Huge sales guaranteed.

That's also around what Matt Cardle sold in his first week.

Nu Matt Cardle? :o I hope not. :(
