Ugh after a great two weeks or something (Bascially everything since the snake episode [snakegate]), tonight was extremely dull for me.

Too much Sam/Ava, they make me cringe.

The only thing I liked this episode was the Abi/Max scene near the end.. I found it very touching and compelling to watch from both of them.

Abi was quiet good last night and her scene at the end with Max was very touching.

I felt today's episode was a lot more interesting than yesterday's, mainly because of the Michael stuff.

Jean drama I didn't find interesting, neither the Alice/Poppy scene.

Loved tonight's episode  pretty hilarious in places, poor Ian again... ha

Really? One of the worst episodes in ages, and that's saying a lot considering how SHITE it's been lately. I can't believe I'm actually yearning for the days of Kat and the shadow shagger.

Fantastic news. Hopefully she's just testing the waters for a longer stay.

Brilliant news! With both

Peggy and Ronnie

returning, hopefully the quality of the show can improve again and not be completely DULL like it is now.

Indeed. It was those two along with Stacey that made the show interesting.

PEGGY

IS COMING BACK!!! (for one episode)

Wonder why she is returning...something to do with Phil? Hopefully there will be an argument/cat-fight with Sharon! :D

I thought they left on good terms?

Peggy and Sharon? Thinking about it, yeah, I think they must have. But I'm sure Eastenders would find something to make them fall out again!

Peggy and Sharon were on good terms when last on screen together, but then the idiot writers bizarrely wrote into Lexi's christening episode that Peggy wasn't there because she didn't want to be around Sharon (?!?!) so I guess we're headed for another retcon here.

The Daily Mail also reckons there's a £1m stunt on the way involving Phil Mitchell, a flipped vehicle and a helicopter.

Hrm, the last time there was a "blockbusting" stunt in EE was that godawful car/explosion scene. It wasn't that exciting. Glad to hear

Barbara Windsor

is coming back, though! Hopefully it's not

her

last appearance, though. :(

Considering Peggy is "all about family", I wouldn't have thought one person would stop her from going to her great-granddaughter's christening.

A helicopter? Hmm, would be a first I guess...

While it is wonderful to see people returning, it at the same is pointless when the writers dont know how to write for the characters and also when the show has no sense of direction. I do think the Peggy return will be saved by Simon Ashdown as he always writes the big Mitchell storylines so that will no doubt happen which is an excellent thing. I just wish EastEnders were getting a new executive producer and also new script writers that have strong storyline ideas. Also i would love to know how the cast feel about the show and some of the storylines they are working with.
I think Denise is my favourite character out of the current cast. She just seems to be so much more convincing when she acts than the others.
