Posted December 19, 201212 yr Pretty shocked to be honest. Lostprophets were one of my favourites when I was growing up, absolutely brilliant live too. I hope the allegations aren't true, but I suspect they might be.
December 19, 201212 yr Yeah it is pretty shocking, especially as he's been charged with conspiring to rape a ONE year old girl  I think they're one of the best rock bands of the last 10 years, I'm gutted!
December 19, 201212 yr I have also always been a minor fan and I never would've pictured anything like this, shocking :( I don't think I can ever watch the video to A Town Called Hypocrisy again if this is true *shudders*

December 19, 201212 yr I really hope this isn't true. :( I did really like them (although everything post Liberation Transmission was pretty shoddy).
November 26, 201311 yr Lostprophets' Ian Watkins guilty of child sex offences Ian Watkins, singer of Welsh rock band Lostprophets, has pleaded guilty to a series of child sex offences including attempted rape of a baby. He had previously "furiously denied" the allegations. The 36-year-old from Pontypridd had been due to stand trial at Cardiff Crown Court alongside two women. Watkins pleaded guilty to attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13 but not guilty to rape. This was accepted by the prosecution. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-25108439 Sick bastard. :puke2:
November 26, 201311 yr He is more twisted than Glitter To think i used to like Lostprophets too :/ Edited November 26, 201311 yr by Sandro Raniere
November 26, 201311 yr What a shame as I also liked some of their records. How on earth wasn't he caught earlier. What a disgusting human being. Edited November 26, 201311 yr by Rob!
November 26, 201311 yr Absolutely appalling, I hope he rots in jail. To think that he was probably doing this whilst his albums were at #1 and he was being publicly adored. Fearne Cotton must feel rather sick at this moment too.
November 26, 201311 yr Author I used to love Lostprophets and they are genuinely brilliant live, but I just can't listen to them anymore. I don't know what his other band mates must be thinking. Reading between the lines, he didn't actually rape the baby, at least there is doubt in the prosecution's mind that this happened. Obviously it was a massive drugs binge, but just so short-sighted, irresponsible and sick.
November 26, 201311 yr It's hard enough to understand how somebody could want to rape a baby. It's even harder to understand how a mother could let it happen.
November 26, 201311 yr Sickening news. Absolutely horrendous and of course I'm devastated because Lost Prophets were one of the first acts of this genre that I liked. I just can't listen to them anymore after this.
November 26, 201311 yr iTunes purge COMPLETE. just looking back on my 14 yo self and dying at how much i loved them.
November 26, 201311 yr I heard this on the news and was absolutely disgusted. Obviously it's worse enough to know there were several rape accounts against children but the attempted rape of a baby?! This is just beyond vile. :puke: Thankfully I never listened to the Lostprophets. Fearne Cotton must feel rather sick at this moment too. I'm doubtful she'll be on Radio 1 for the rest of the week.
November 26, 201311 yr Thank god Fearne had her first child with this new fella. Can't bear to imagine what would of happened had she and Ian stayed together and had a baby :/ Edited November 26, 201311 yr by Rob!
