One of Rihanna's other album tracks currently has an audience impression of 14 million in the US (and is about to re-enter the top 100 on iTunes), whilst Stay has almost 0 airplay at the moment. I think her record label are probably wondering what to do now tbh.

What album track is that?!

The difference is that You Da One wasn't very good.

Only Girl and What's My Name were released close together and were both successful

That was a different case as What's My Name reached #1 before Only Girl.

Pour It Up.

I've been following the US charts for 3 years now, and I've never seen an album track get airplay like that before. I'm honestly quite shocked.

And search it on Twitter, there's so many tweets from people saying they heard it in a club, so I assume it's already starting to become a club hit in the US.

Strange, it hardly seems the most commercial.

Id like to see Jump get a full release ... or Love Without Tragedy be extended maybe. Just not Right Now, ew.

I agree about Jump. That song is amazing, it's got so many good moments, it's kind of weird lol.

I agree about Right Now as well, but I think it's a likely choice at some point. :(

Right Now has been confirmed as the second single in the States. Maybe they're doing a dual single over there with PIU being the urban single. Her third UK single will defo be Right Now. Its the most obvious hit on the album.

It will be a worldwide single, they're just not rushing to release it because they don't want You Da One to happen all over again.

Okay, who's right and who's wrong?

I think Right Now will do worse than everybody expects, like what happened to Where Have You Been.

Don't Stop The Party  #9 (was used on CBB)

Try  #11

Yeah Yeah  #17

Ooh didn't realise Try had returned to the Top 10! Good to see Yeah Yeah going up, I think it has been used on the Waterloo Road advert this week.

I really want 'Lost In Paradise' to be the next Rihanna single. I am going to be gutted if it's 'Right Now' :( 'Stay' was the perfect second choice though, especially for the UK. It's a shame one of her best singles probably won't get a music video. :( 'Talk That Talk' didn't get a video either, I hope they don't get into a habit of not making a music video for at least one single an era (starting with TTT) as that would be a shame IMO.

Also, ewwwwww :puke2: at that Pitbull song overtaking both Ke$ha and and Pink

I can't quite believe Taylor Swift is going to get a top 3 hit with I Knew You Were Trouble, it's not really had a great effect on the album though. I don't think I Knew You Were Trouble will go to number one unless she performs on Dancing On Ice as 30% is quite a lot to overcome.

The youtube video in your sig is horrendous and very distressing.

It's being release as an Urban single and is crossing over to Rhythmic I believe. That's why it's rising. "Right Now" is being released to pop. "Stay" isn't being released in the US yet.

PIU is one of those Rihanna songs that have US urban hit but wouldn't catch on anywhere else written all over it. I guess they cant ignore it because it was getting airplay, so will have to do a dual release in the US. They have probably picked right now as it is only likely to get spins from pop, thus can leave PIU to grow on Urban ect.

No, it's not. It's an album track.

Pour It Up, Loveeeeeee Song and Nobodies Business are all getting airplay on rhythmic and urban formats. They haven't been sent to radio yet, it's purely radio stations choosing to play those songs.

I think Rihanna can release Pour It Up as the mainstream single in the US, given that Thrift Shop is #28 on the pop airplay chart, and #4 on iTunes, so urban songs can be hits there if you actually push them. She probably won't though.

Or maybe they're waiting for the Grammy's/other awards shows for RiRi to perform 'Stay'. I get that they're going to attempt to give her, her own 'Someone Like You', because out of all the things RiRi needs to do now, she needs her own big ballad hit. 'Unfaithful' and 'Take A Bow' were obviously big, but I get the feeling the label know she can have a bigger one so they will hold off to promote it and stuff. I dunno, I'm probably likely to be very wrong, but 'Stay' is just too good not to get SOME sort of push in America.

I hope you're right. She already performed it once there, so that might mean they want to push it hopefully.

I checked, and the last Rihanna song that got sent to radio in the US was Diamonds on October 3rd, which is over 3 months ago. I think it's really time for them to just make a decision. Diamonds peaked in most places quite a while ago.

On another note, I think Willy Moon could go top 20. I really hope so, it's a catchy song.

Just seen the music videos for these on the TV. Alicia Keys looks like Whitney Houston Mark II in her video! :P And on first listen, Can't Pretend sounds really good! I noticed that Tom Odell has another song called Another Love at #79.
