Anne Hathaway "I Dreamed a Dream" - #61.

Could this end up outpeaking Susan Boyle's version next week?

I do hope so! Just got back from seeing it and her performance was breath taking. So beautiful and raw and emotional. A bit disappointed 'Suddenly' isn't top 100 though :( (being an original song, made for the movie).

I knew 'Forever Now' was too generic not to become a hit! It's a great song, and was always baffled as to why it was struggling, but now the Christmas rush is over I guess it's just got peoples attention. Hope it can be another top 10 hit for him at least.

'Clique' in the top 15 :D #28 on the mids, only needs to climb 4 places by Sunday to get a new peak!

I find it strange how 'new' songs (mostly album tracks but also some slow climbing pre-album singles like Vato and Matrix & Futurebound) seem to climb so much during the day on Monday to Friday when almost everyone is at work/school.

Flo Rida and Ne-Yo have both exploded out of nowhere during this week to the iTunes top 40. The former isn't too surprising after 'I Cry' but Ne-Yo's sudden surge is bizarre, especially as the video has been out for a few weeks now...

I was thinking that too with songs like Animal, that get huge boosts during school hours, and less so in the evening. I guess people are talking about them and actually downloading the songs during school hours on smart phones etc, instead of waiting to get home.

Clique  #14

Lost  #27

Animal  #40 :yahoo:

Because its a rolling chart. During the day sales will inevitably slow down and its the newer tracks which are likely to benefit the most as they will have been downloaded more prior to the daytime slump

In other iTunes news, it's brilliant to see Animal go into the Top 40! :D I really like the song, it's his second best after Turn Around.

Nice to see Emeli Sande and Ne-Yo climb up the iTunes chart as well, although I thought that Forever Young didn't do very well in the first place.

I thought I was the only fan of 'Forever Now', I'm glad people are starting to see the light with how good it is! Much better than Let Me Love You. I'm completely baffled as to why it's suddenly exploded though, is there a particular reason for why it's gone Top 40? Is he promoting or something?

It's the people who are on the dole maybe that are behind this.

David Bowie is really decreasing fast, it's like he drops by 1 position every hour or something. So maybe by 8:00 he will be at #9 behind Bruno Mars.

Come on Anne, GRAB THAT TOP 40 SMASH

What's the reason for David Guetta's huge climbs in the last few days?

JLS keep yo-yoing around just outside of the Top 100 - Everytime it looks like it might go Top 100 it drops again.

Was hoping Alt-J would have had some impact after 'Matilda' broke the Top 100 added with the Brits nominations and R1 airplay.

Emeli Sande on Graham Norton tonight :D

Ooh nice to see that! :yahoo: Emeli is very shy and doesn't usually take up the offer to perform on TV, so I'm glad that finally she's getting that all-important promo :D

Emeli Sande on Graham Norton tonight :D

Thank goodness, I mean she doesn't get enough exposure everywhere. :P
