11. Emeli Sandé - Next to Me

 

Contestant sung it on The Voice on Monday.

 

Seems to have got a bigger boost by being sung by someone else than it did last Thursday when Emeli performed it during the American Idol finale :lol:

 

 

Oh go on 'Lego House'! Will probably just be a short-lived boost but hopefully this can help it grab a decent peak (top 50 at least please). Great to see Labrinth finally making an impact as well. Can that swap places with 'Next To Me' please.

Album version of 'Get Lucky' :up: #10 (the radio edit will probably be deleted now). 'Get Lucky' for H100 top 10 this week hopefully :D

'Get Lucky' is #10 on the Hot 100.

 

'Beneath Your Beautiful' is #45 on Pop radio so hopefully that carries on to be the next Brit song to take off.

YES though :D Thought it was going to end up peaking at #14 after how quickly it initially fell on iTunes.

2 Chainz and Wiz :up: #3. I assume this was released in the UK before the USA, I was wondering a few days ago how this was smashing in the UK but apparently being completely ignored by the US.

I don't understand why UK rappers are always removed/replaced for US releases. Surely if people like the song they're going to buy it regardless of who the featured artist is? It was like when Rizzle Kicks were replaced by Chiddy Bang on 'Heart Skips A Beat'.

 

It's a shame because this probably the only American exposure these artists are going to get.
