Yes, I am aware of that. However, the Brits shouldn't give her an award just because of that incident.

I don't think she'd be awarded the title just because she stuck her middle finger up on television. Surely the British public aren't that silly?

The British public aren't voting for the award this year. The Brits organisers are deciding the award themselves.

That seems (to me) that it'd be even more implausible than it already is for them to give her an award for that reason alone.

I'm not bothering to watch tonight. I'll tune in at the points when it's Olly's categories but I'm just of the view that the BRITs have become more of an 'old boys' club in favour of the 'real musicians and authentic music' clique with the passing of time. I'll watch Robbie and Justin's performances on YouTube.
James Corden is still hosting, he's live on Radio 1 right now! :o

Thank God, I don't know how long I could have tolerated Chris Evans! :puke2:

He's hosted four Brit Awards ceremonies in the past, so he must have been good! :D

He's a million times better than James Corden

Have you seen him on The One Show? He's like a 5 year-old who's been given too much sugar/coke!

Not tuning in tonight. Just cannot be bothered. Last year's show was dull and they missed out some key nominees (and actual awards at that). And I don't want to listen to everyone bore on about how it's been a great year for British music when it's been one of the worst. There'll be too much 1D, too much Emeli Sande and probably too much grovelling to Adele because people still aren't over 2 years ago plus the fact her speach was interrupted.
According to some, Rihanna deserves the International Female BRIT because she's modelled for countless photoshoots and created a fashion line. Lame, TBH. :kink:
Rihanna deserves the International Female BRIT (again!) for releasing great music (if you exclude Stay). I think Taylor will win it this year, as she's performing, and Rihanna won it last year.

She's not released a solid album since Loud, though... Talk That Talk was a mess (minus a few songs), and Unapologetic is a disaster.

I agree that Loud is better than TTT and Unapolgetic, but the latter two albums are still good. For example Pour It Up, Jump and Right Now on Unapologetic and Cockiness and Birthday Cake on Talk That Talk.

Your favourite female artist is definitely getting a BRIT tonight, it would be nice if my favourite got one too :kink: (but as I said earlier I think they'll give it to Taylor)

It's like choosing between shit in a bag or piss in a cup though.

They are both DIABOLIC.

Couldn't have put it any better.

Just confirmed on ITV2 that Muse are opening the show! But boy, Laura Whitmore is so annoying - at least Rizzle Kicks are there as well!
Emeli's closing the show.

Nothing weird there

James Corden annoys me so much :(

On the plus side, I love this Muse song (sounds so Bond-y).
