Ridiculously excited for this, NATW are my favourite band and I absolutely loved their last album.

The last album was great, one of my top five albums of 2011, hope this can match up! Is that the cover or a placeholder?
Excited! One of my favourite bands in recent years. 'The First Days of Spring' is such a lovely album and 'Last Night On Earth' was much more mainstream and just as brilliant. I still haven't got round to listening to anything from the first album apart from the singles, '5 Years Time' is amazing.

Not sure, it does look quite basic for an official cover, but it appears on the page when you pre-order the album from their site, and it's the band's Twitter picture now.

I've not actually heard any of their albums in full, but "5 Years Time", "L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N." and "Tonight's the Kind of Night" were all great, so hopefully this will deliver something great (and entice me to listen to the LP) also! :D
Waiting For My Chance To Come remains one of my ultimate indie anthems of the last few years, effortlessly great and a brilliant summer song.

'There Will Come A Time' has premiered on their VEVO channel. :D

First listen, I like it. Not quite "loving" it quite just yet, but all their stuff seem to be growers as opposed to being instant.

I'm amazed how well Noah & The Whale have morphed from middling nu-folksters into mainstream MOR rockers in the space of a few years. This is a decent song on first listen.
I really like it, it's more 3rd or 4th single sounding than it should be I guess but it's quite catchy, I've listened once about half an hour ago and it's been going round my head since.

Love There Will Come A Time, it's my new favourite song of 2013, I'm glad they've stuck with their sound from Last Night of Earth! So good!

Got the album on Saturday (I pre-ordered it), and I LOVE IT. One of my favourite albums of all time, Charlie's vocals are so good, and the lyrics are really well written. The songs all could be singles (apart from the instrumental introduction, obviously) and basically it's amazing. I've not listened to it too many times yet, but I'm cautious of overplaying it and growing sick of the songs.

They have broken up :(

The First Days of Spring and Last Night on Earth were amazing albums! Waiting For My Chance To Come, 5 Years Time, First Days of Spring and L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. are all legitimate classics for me.

Oh no way!

To be honest, I adored their 2nd and 3rd albums, and went to see them on tour, but the 4th album kind of passed me by a little bit. Such a shame they've broken up though.

I appreciate the support at this difficult time guys. Gah, I'll miss that whale.

(I'm not too bothered by this news but 'L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N' and 'Five Years Time' were bops.....so :/ I guess.)

This post entirely! :( Such a shame that they've called it a day, was ready for a new album from them. But hopefully they can come back in like 5 years or so and be better than ever!
I did really like their first and third albums, didn't bother with the second really and never cared much for the latest one. But it's sad they've split, they had some great songs.

pun intended?
