What are The 1975 doing back in the top 100?

You sure its not a new release? it seems to be being promoted as one on Digital Spy. I just heard it today - its rather catchy.

Clarity needs to get into the top 40 soon, it better not miss out again :(

What are The 1975 doing back in the top 100?

Grimmy played it on Breakfast today, some people might have heard it for the first time there

Hopefully (for the millionth time), Little Mix can get into the top 10 when The Lumineers fall out! Taylor and Will/Britney have had their time so they can stay away!

It charted at #84 two weeks ago. So yes, pretty sure. :P

That Harlem Shake is going to be MASSIVE! for people who dont know what it is, its 30-second video set to the tune Harlem Shake by New York-based DJ Baauer. For the first 15 seconds, one person dances while everyone else in the room remains as they are. Then, the beat drops, and everyone kicks off, everyone seems to be doing it on YouTube now here is one video:

Little Mix just can't catch a break. Every time a song drops from the top 10 and they look set to enter, another track comes along and pushes them back to #11/#12. So frustrating.

They are owning the #12 spot

Just make it 59p already, goddamnit! Lol. It'd benefit so much more being 59p now than it would in like 2 weeks or whenever.

I'm getting sick and tired of all of these dance crazes or novelty songs. There's only so many you can take before it starts to get boring.

I'm so pleased that Rihanna and Foals are climbing! Hopefully Rihanna will go to #1 and Foals will go Top 10! :D (I can dream :kink:)

lol. What did you think when Crank That came out?

What do you mean? Crank That came out ages ago. I'm talking about songs like Party Rock Anthem, Gangnam Style and Thrift Shop.

As much as I dislike Gangnam Style & Party Rock Anthem it's undeniable on a night out you always find yourself dancing like a twat when it comes on.

21. Drake - Started From The Bottom

46. Zedd Feat Foxes - Clarity

145. One Direction - One Way Or Another.

163. Shakria - Waka Waka

184. Owl City - When Can I See You Again

122. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us (Single Pre-Order )

I get the impression this could actually be their first number one, airplay is looking really good compared to previous singles! They don't usually chart in the airplay top 100 until Radio1 Playlist them!

"Falling" is great, if not quite as instant as "Don't Save Me" on first listen. I'm assuming it's not the proper lead single so they'll have amassed a fair few minor hits by the time the album comes out.

I meant it's a novelty dance craze that came just before Party Rock Anthem, etc, so did you like them before you got fed up of them?

Laffy Taffy was the best imo.

It wasn't as consistent or popular. And I'm younger than you, so I wouldn't have much memories of those songs coming out.

But I've just heard the Harlem Shake and it sounds decent! ^_^

Oh my god Harlem Shake is amazing! Couldn't really get on board with Get Hyper as that was a bit monotonic after a while but Harlem Shake is great to grind to! [/ericblob]

I have no clue why 'Thrift Shop' is being classed in the same group as this, as far as I know it doesn't have a specific dance routine, just because a song may have humourous lyrics doesn't necessarily make it a novelty song.

Laffy Taffy was the best imo.

D4L? Lol, that is possibly one of the worst songs I've ever had the misfortune of hearing. The beat sounds like it came off a casio keyboard and the lyrics are beyond moronic. Horrendous.
