February 17, 201312 yr ZEDD :w00t: Really hope the FAR superior "Follow You Down" can be MASSIVE in the future
February 17, 201312 yr Foxes (not to be confused with Foxes! or The Foxes) gets her first top 40 hit then. Buzzjack Indie/Alt forum distances self from her from this point on. :P
February 17, 201312 yr Clarity  Zedd's album is easily the best I've heard so far this year, probably the best dance album I've heard in years too, HUGELY recommended to anybody that likes Clarity. Follow You Down demands a listen too, it's even better imo; v0DYZ4WvLdo
February 17, 201312 yr Excellent to see Clarity in, seems shocking that THREE songs I like will enter in one week! :o
February 17, 201312 yr Clarity  Great to see that David Guetta isn't the only one who can pull off a collaboration with a brilliant singer!
February 17, 201312 yr Indeed! When was the last soundtrack song to do this well? I can't remember any doing this well. Beyonce - Listen (with large thanks to being used on many talent shows)?
February 17, 201312 yr Excellent to see Clarity in, seems shocking that THREE songs I like will enter in one week! :o Mark, any chance you could do my PULP rate please? :D

February 17, 201312 yr I think I'm alone in not really getting the fuss with "Clarity". As much as I hated all the Pitbull clones of 18 months ago, currently cursing "Titanium" for bringing on this glut of faux-emotional synth ejaculations.
February 17, 201312 yr 'Clarity' is growing on me very rapidly after finding it average on first listen. I think this is a future top 10 hit, progressing brilliantly on iTunes so far. Co-written by Porter Robinson?! :o Bré chart geek fact: Zedd is the first artist whose name begins with 'Z' to appear in the top 40 since Zwan with 'Honestly' way back in 2003! (Though since then The Zutons, The Zimmers and most recently [[[Zuper Blahq]]] have also made top 40 appearances, their names don't actually start with a 'Z' though). February 17, 201312 yr Point made (hopefully) so lets move on. jaxxalude, Griff has a point, you were pretty annoying last week, could you reel in your negativity please. Sorry, I think he doesn't. As I already said (and it was deleted for some reason), it's just a chart! We're just having some fun here. As for the Zedd track, nothing special.
February 17, 201312 yr I don't see a big problem if an alternative/indie singer features on a dance/electronic track. It makes the song even more special. ;)
February 17, 201312 yr Re: Devlin "Rewind" - I think the record label's problem with both releases was that they held them back far too long; so although a decent first week debut, they've hardly sold much in the long run. I've not really paid much attention to Devlin with this release - his debut was a fantastic album; "Let It Go", "Brainwashed" and "Marching Through the Fog" all cracking tracks.
February 17, 201312 yr Sorry, I think he doesn't. As I already said (and it was deleted for some reason), it's just a chart! We're just having some fun here. As for the Zedd track, nothing special. I deleted it as now the point has (hopefully) been made, we can get back on topic. It may 'just be a chart' to you, but I have to think of all the posters here who enjoy the chart and frankly your posts last week were close to the wire of repetitive and almost constantly negative. Chill out.
February 17, 201312 yr A Thousand Years and Jai Ho! did pretty well. You're probably right. ill Manors was the only recent one which sprung to my mind, but its success is much less compared to Skyfall. I can't remember any doing this well. Beyonce - Listen (with large thanks to being used on many talent shows)? Yeah, peaked at #8 thanks to the X Factor Final in 2008. Listen must be quite a good trickle seller actually, I'm sure it has been 59p a couple of times too. Edited February 17, 201312 yr by liamk97
