I have a feeling Capital Cities will get pushed back ala Icona Pop.

I'm not so sure, the hype for them doesn't seem as big as it did for Icona Pop. Has it been big in Europe or America?

It was recently top 10 in the US :D

Daley, Macklemore and YM@6 are the only ones that stand out as definite additions

All Time Low could appear, Radio 1 always play list them

Otherwise nothing else really stands out...though I hope Alex Metric gets played this week or next now that the release date has been pushed to October 6th

Was Coastal Cites not added to radio 2s list last week there?
I know I say this most weeks, but I'd like to see Armin Van Buuren's Beautiful Life playlisted this week. :D
Probably 2 or 3 weeks too early for this, but Anna Kendrick and 'Cups' is being given a UK push apparently. So hopefully we'll see that in a few weeks :D

Hate that song with a passion (mainly because of Vine).

I believe it did reasonably well in an edition of Unknown Pleasures about 2 years ago.

Playlist predictions for today? Hopefully they'll add a few more songs than they did last week

I'm thinking:

The Saturdays – Disco Love (I really can't see why they'd snub it after they playlisted the far inferior Gentleman)

Bring Me The Horizon – Can You Feel My Heart

Cher Lloyd ft. T.I – I Wish (as far as I remember, they supporter her last era didn't they?)

Don Broco – You Wanna Know

Eliza Doolittle – Let It Rain

Icona Pop – All Night (possibly)

Iggy Azalea – Change Your Life (pretty much a certainty I'd say)

Sam & The Womp – Ravo (haven't heard this but if it's any good they might add it)

Probably a week too early for James Arthur and Robin Thicke, but sometimes they do add big songs early so who knows.

^ agree with BMTH, Don Broco, Eliza, Iggy and James from there

I can see these possibly being added too:

Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball

Ben Pearce - What I Might Do

Scrufizzer - Kick It

Wilkinson - Afterglow

Twenty One Pilots - House of Gold (i think their last single was playlisted?)

Hoping Eliza gets added today, be daft for her not to be added after doing live lounge.
SURELY The Sats will be playlisted. :( I'd be gutted if they weren't. I'm sure Iggy will get playlist, and they'd have no reason to not support Cher now (when is that even out?)...
Does Wrecking Ball have a release date yet?

I don't think it does. But her album is apparently out on 7 October, so unless that changes R1 will probably add the song this week/next week at least

14th October so if they're gonna add her they'll add her this week or next week.

Oh in that case I reckon they'll definitely add it this week!

Would love Fatboy Slim to be added but its not out until 28/10 so too early maybe.

Good to see this back Mango ;)

Predictions for this afternoon's playlist? I'm thinking:

Linkin Park & Steve Aoki - A Light That Never Comes

Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball

Justin Timberlake - TKO (it's flopping but they've supported everything else he's done so they might stay loyal)

Miles Kane - Better Than That (won't trouble the charts but they still usually support him)

James Arthur - You're Nobody Til Somebody Loves You (pretty much a dead cert addition today I'd say)

MS MR - Fantasy

Foxes - Youth

Robin Thicke feat. Kendrick Lamar - Give It 2 U

These are more uncertain:

Icona Pop - All Night

Selena Gomez - Slow Down

Ms Dynamite & Shy FX - Cloud 9

Any others?

Possibly these too:

Little Nikki - Little Nikki Says

Stylo G ft. Sister Nancy– Badd

Union J - Beautiful Life (hopefully not though)

Fatboy Slim & Riva Starr - Eat Sleep Rave Repeat (Calvin Harris Mix) (it's probably gonna be massive, so they might add it a week early)
