KNEW someone would enter "Bound", hope that does well. Yay @ being in Persephonia's semi (though if leww's odds are anything to go by, i'm already heading for a flop anyway. oh well)

 

I don't think I'm going to have beginner's luck. Will probably crawl to last in my semi, barely scraping double digits if that :lol:

I feel like I know more songs already than I usually do but looks good!

 

There are three artists here (Mausi, Indiana and Clean Bandit) that I have strongly considered sending in the past myself, albeit with different songs ('sol.', 'Blind As I Am' and 'Nightingale' respectively)! I think the last time that happened with even one artist was with Haim. I've only actually heard 'A+E' out of those 3 though. I do hope you don't disappoint me Bal :kink:

 

I think I shall just hope to qualify this contest, really not sure what to expect but this is one of my favourite entries to date.

Oh if you like Sol, you should be pleasantly surprised with Move as it's Solx100 with added OOMPH (and if you're not, just don't kill my vibe).

 

Semi 1 looks quite good, I'll be interested to see how well Glass Candy do, since that was a last minute decision for a replacement again, as I nearly pulled out of the comp :drama: I think I've shot myself in the foot though in danger of DNQing, since I had a good run lately.

 

Originally Little Daylight was my BJSC entry, but Dandy got there first :drama: good luck there, I did have Matt & Kim as a back up track which some members were after as well, and Entertainment by Phoenix, oh well Glass Candy it is.

 

I did consider Vanessa Paradis saw the track on popjustice, but I got bored with it, sorry Tom. :(

 

Funny enough Ghost Beach was recommended to me :lol: I would have had to change again :lol:

Genuinely have no idea how YADi's going to go down. It seems vaguely in the vain of what usualy does quite well but you can never be sure. Plus the last song by her in BJSC, 'Sahara Heart' didn't do very well at all. I Still love it though.

AS IF TONE DALMI DIDIN'T GET VETO'D? Yet Darin did last month!

Vanessa Paradis? It's a fantastic song but I dont quite know how I feel about it being entered. I hope it does well I guess.

I know! I've been here since the beginning and have spend so much time and energy labouring under the impression it was all about introducing people to outstanding new music they wouldn't have heard without the contest. Silly me!

 

You must be EXHAUSTED after this inspiring find - just a month after preaching about how inspired you were.

On a less controversial note, I'm very happy with my semi - but seeing one of my potentials 'Close Enough' in it is going to make this a bit painful (much like worrying that Push Play would blow me out of the water last contest).

Urgh I've got to listen and vote tonight cause I'm Canada for the next week :( Not gonna be able to get to know the songs well at all!

 

Also... 'Smash' doesn't sound like a winner at all, or even a contender. I think the best it can do is get mid-table, so I probably would let it through... but Silas you should be more inspired seeing as you were the one complaining about it last contest!

I mean it's fair and I wasn't surprised or angry, knowing that they got 3rd place for me a while back but she placed 2nd & 4th??? Question. In the video for 'Wish U Were Here' why do they have so many shots of guitar playing when there isnt a guitar to be heard in the song? Make no Sense.

I was pretty opposed to it being let through, but in the end I agree with the notion that it probably won't do that well really so it's not a case of him sending an absolutely amazing obvious winner and being allowed to sail through so was okay with it.
