I've seen Cascada on quite a lot of music channels, which explains why it's top 1000.

Major What the hell at Ariana Grande being #18. I doubt it will go much higher/even enter the top 40, but good on her for doing the smart decision by releasing it while there's a certain amount of hype around the song instead of waiting it to fizz out (Demi Lovato).

Wait. Who even is Ariana Grande?!

She was in a Nickelodeon programme called 'Victorious', but as far as I know, she wasn't even the main character - so how she's amassed such a huge fanbase really is beyond me.

Oh, thanks. :D I thought that she was the girl who just won BJSC for a minute!

Great to see Ariana doing so well, I quite like the song but its not as good as the fantastic 'Put Your Hearts Up' that was entered into BJSC. I definitely see the Mariah Carey comparisons in 'The Way' though. With Ariana doing so well OA/OS, I think it shows that Demi could've easily gone top 5 with the same release strategy - hopefully 'Heart Attack' will still do great anyway!

Taylor is also very close to getting into the top 10 now, and PJ & Duncan are beginning to fall very quickly.

EP pre-orders (album chart)

20. Need U (100%) [feat. A*M*E] - Duke Dumont

36. Waiting All Night - Rudimental

99. What a Night - Loveable Rogues

115. Mozart's House - Clean Bandit

Gwon DD, Rudimental and Clean Bandit! :cheer: I think there's alot of incentive for people to download Rudimental's whole EP, since it has 3 different b-sides(?) on it (including 2 remixes of WAN). But still, it's doing incredibly well; is there even a music video for this song yet? :o

*hopes and prays for 'Need U' to flop and stall at number 2 or 3 (preferably lower, but this is more realistic)*
Why?! Need U is a brilliant song! :( :P

Ariana Grande top 20?!? :manson:

What is it with singers from kids TV channels suddenly doing well in the charts? First Bridgit Mendler and now Ariana. What next? Demi Lovato going to #1? Miley Cyrus finally getting a top 10 hit?

Haven't even heard Ariana's song but judging by her BJSC entry and her background I can safely assume that this new song is crap.

Cascada, the first eurovision song to break the top 1000 itunes this year, if they perform strongly in Eurovision they may manage another top 75 hit.

Bonnie Tyler charted first

Lovely to see such open mindedness in this thread.

It does seem a little odd to criticise a song when you haven't even heard it.

Ugh at Ariana Grande. Mac Miller finally getting a hit is kind of good though I guess? Surprised 'Frick Park Market' never even cracked the top 100, I remember R1 supporting it a bit. Then again it didn't exactly smash in the USA either (although he did get a #1 album).

Blackstreet picking up a lot of sales this year, could get a new 2013 peak this week possibly inside the top 40 and it already has 7 top 100 weeks this year! Woo at 'Use Somebody' now being back in the top 40 as well :kink: Get that million.

Rudimental probably now looking at a second #1 with 'Waiting All Night', it's another strong single for them although not as good as the first 2 yet. Poor 'Not Giving In' being stuck with a #14 peak between potentially two #1s :(

Kinda reminiscent of Emeli Sandé's 02-21-02 run at the start of her solo career :D (except NGI has actually done alot better overall than 'Daddy'. But yeah, it definitely deserved a better peak)
