Good to see Imagine Dragons #1 atm -- I'm sure they'll stay ahead of Bring Me the Horizon, but it's impossible to tell whether they'll be able to stay ahead of Timberlake with no sales information for him.

Music Week report added, Duke Dumont outselling #2 and #3 combined.

:cheer: Maybe 100k is possible! Sunday should be interesting, there is no way PJ & Duncan will be #2, plus we have Nelly and Brownie climbing.

Wouldn't surprise me if Bring Me the Horizon fell out of the Top 5, but it should be safe for a Top 10 debut. David Bowie to continue his slow decent down the chart - looking at a 1-2-3-4- chart run this Sunday. :P Meat Loaf's possible return to the Top 20 makes it the second iconic album to re-enter the Top 20 I think - Fleetwood Mac's Rumours doing it earlier this year. I don't think there is any mention in the Music Week report as to why Michael Ball is back, any ideas?

Gwon Duke Dumont. Really hope he can pass 100k at least, I think he will be significantly less frontloaded than The Sats but he could still fall just short. Just glad #1 is definitely in the bag anyway.

Woo for 'Radioactive' coming for the top 20 and 'Night Visions' looking like a likely #1 album! A bit surprised neither 'It's Time' nor 'On Top Of The World' have sneaked into the singles top 40 but I think they'll both be there by Sunday.

Yay for Christina Perri somehow climbing to #23 (?!) and Haim somehow being top 40 :D Would say EP sales for the latter but the EP isn't really doing that well at all, #77 currently.

I would LOVE to see Bring Me The Horizon holding onto #2 in the albums, don't think it's very likely but they could well stay top 5. Tyler, The Creator probably has no chance of staying top 10 but should get a first top 20. Thought Wiley would be doing a bit better after 3 top 10 hits (and 'Animal') but I guess he's not really an album seller.

Bastille album back ahead of Emeli but I bet she'll re-overtake by Sunday again like she did last week :(

Apparently according to Radio 1, there have been reports that Beyonce is going to announce something tomorrow. You never know what's going to happen.

I doubt that she'll go to #1 if she releases something though.

If it was a new single that she was releasing, I guess it would be able to go Top 10, but like you say, not #1. It may not even be released this week if she did announce she had a new single out.

The problem with beyonce, like lady gaga, is that she does the whole 'on air, on sale' thing which kinda blows her chances of going to number one. For example, run the world was like released on a wednesday and peaked at #6 - #5 for ages before plumetting down on monday.

Great for Imagine Dragons been number 1 with their album and the sublime radioactive in the top 20 (although will no doubt end up around number 25 on Sunday)

Some very unknown acts in the album chart this week and i am surprised Justin Timberlake is not top 2.

Thanks Liam and ManicK for the updates.

I think Imagine Dragons can hang on to the #1 album, they may also bag a couple of singles in the top 40 singles chart. And a new peak for Radioactive.

I should imagine Duke Dumont sales might just scrape 100k or come under.

Brilliant chart run for Pompeii, if it hangs on to #5 chart run will consist of 2-3-5-5-5-5 so far.... (4 wks at #5, if the track makes it)

Is Ratchet feat. Lady GaGa & Azealia Banks going to happen :o

Thanks Liam and ManicK for the updates.

My pleasure, thanks James for helping out.

My Top 10 album predictions:

01. Imagine Dragons

02. Justin Timberlake

03. David Bowie

04. Emeli Sandé

05. Bastille

06. Bring Me the Horizon

07. Rihanna

08. Pink

09. Tyler, the Creator

10. Stereophonics

Hoping by some miracle that Tom Odell can hold on to a T40 placing until Sunday. Iggy Azalea would make a nice entry too, Haim I'm less confident about.

Amusing that the official T10 doesn't mirror the real one - "Hey Porsche" for example showing up at #8 despite being #4 on iTunes. As much as it's nice to see Buble back, I'd much rather he fall to #11/12 by the week end and give one of the T10 entries a longer run (e.g. Bridgit Mendler for a FIFTH week!)

Imagine Dragons 3k ahead of the #2 is quite surprising too, even more so considering it's Bring Me the Horizon and not Timberlake. I imagine BMTH will fall a few places come Sunday, but I'm hoping Imagine Dragons can hold on and debut at #1 - they truly are a brilliant band. Shame it's likely to only be a one-weeked #1 album though, what with Paramore's self-titled album released next week.

Fantastic albums top two, I can see BMTH being a case similar to last year where The Gaslight Anthem débuted at #2 (behind Plan B, so another new entry) and stayed there over the week despite everyone expecting them to fall back. Impossible to tell without sales but I was expecting Sempiternal to be top 5 on Sunday even before I saw the mids.

Duke Dumont will not be number 1 next week however we'll be looking at another dance/club chart song at number one due to the fact that will.i.am's team up with JB - #thatPower is released on Sunday unless of course Beyonce releases a BEAST of a song on Sunday - Wednesday.

I think this week we're looking at -

1. Need U (100%)

2. Just Give Me A Reason

3. What About Us

4. Pompeii

5. Mirrors

6. Lets Get Ready To Rhumble

7. Hey Porsche

8. When I Was Your Man

9. Feel This Moment

10. It's A Beautiful Day

As for the albums chart -

1. Imagine Dragons

2. Justin Timberlake

3. David Bowie

4. Emeli Sande

5. Bastille

6. Rihanna

7. Bring Me The Horizon

8. P!nk

9. Bruno Mars

10. Stereophonics

I don't think there is any mention in the Music Week report as to why Michael Ball is back, any ideas?

He presented a programme on Sunday about 40 years of Andrew Lloyd Webber.

I didn't see it but I presume the album was heavily advertised in the ad breaks

While I wasn't expecting Radioactive to climb that much, It's Time and On Top Of The World need to be top 40 by Sunday - both great songs! (It wouldn't surprise me if they were 41 and 42 right now!) ...The album should be number 1 as well, best album of the year for me too. :D

Although it's looking possible that Bastille could climb to number 4 this week with PJ and Duncan falling, I actually hope they stay at number 5 to continue this streak! Either that or a rise to number 1 please. ;)

I was expecting to see 3 Imagine Dragons in this first set of the midweeks.

On the other hand, surprised but pleased to see Tom Odell there.

:w00t: Imagine Dragons number 1 in the album mids?! Amazing. Hopefully they can stay ahead!

TRULY SLAYING IN EVERY CHART TOO. ('It's Time' and 'On Top of the World' will be top 40 entries come Sunday, I think).
