:o I never knew she was on their album!

I know loads of people have predicted it to go to number 1 and be the year-end number 1 as well and im not disagreeing with those people but at this moment in time i cant see how it's going to be #1 when the likes of Daft Punk & Rudimental are so far ahead. There's also Chris Malinchak to think about from next week onwards as well.

 

I'm sure we all said the same about Gotye at one point too.

 

I hope this doesn't go to #1 though, it's fairly plain and his voice is grating.

best news is, it's a genuine highlight from the album, too. :wub:

I quite like Let Her Go but it doesn't have that same 'wow' factor that Somebody That I Used To Know or We Are Young did (seeing as they're similar songs that were in a similar position, except obviously fun. weren't a one hit wonder in the end).

Ugh, 'I Need Your Love' is down to #7 now :( It should overtake 'Iris' soon though.

To be honest I think Passenger is just going to grow and grow over the coming weeks, its only now just starting to get airplay afterall. I do however think Daft Punk is going to be a big threat and could even stop Chris Malinchak reaching #1 next week too.

Funny enough I was thinking that earlier today, I just sense Get Lucky is in for a long spell at #1, it be great if the track spends more than 4 weeks.

 

I agree on both, Daft Punk i think will be number 1 for at least 4 weeks and i Passenger will be top 75 until at least the end of the year.

I think barring Chris Malinchak the only other big release in the next couple of weeks is Wretch 32 (and Naughty Boy)... and then Union J at the start of June, so if Daft Punk does deny Chris next week I think they will be there for 5 weeks.

 

However I think next week will be a close run thing as the pre-order for that Chris track seem to be huge

Not sure what will happen next week think Chris Malinchik will make it his pre orders have been huge and its hard for a song to keep selling soooo much on iTunes for so lone DP will slow down by the weeks end paving the way for So good to me to have a RIP style chart run!!

 

Great to see Powerless doing so well Rudimentals albums is seriously good & after one listen from me Emeli Sandes songs are Brillant!!
