Great to see Demi nearly in the top 200, and Tich getting a little boost thanks to her fans getting 'Dumb' Twitter trending in the UK!

Armin van Buuren's track sounds VERY similar to "Just One Last Time" by David Guetta & Taped Rai. Incredible none-the-less, nice to see the #1 DJ actually getting some decent chart success and getting his name out there to casual music listeners.

As for Mariah Carey's new single, Miguel seems to feature on it a fair bit. Seems to be more of Miguel featuring Mariah Carey, and in that classic rap-way, the featured artist does a little more than just the chorus.

I've only heard Blurring Lines once and it sounds so MASSIVE, I'm really surprised that it hasn't had much hype so far! :o
The hype is definitely building. I hated it/disliked it the first couple of times I listened to it, but it is perfect for this weather, that we're currently having and has grown on me hugely. I do hope it's big when it's released!

Bubbling Under

118. Bridgit Mendler - "Hurricane"

163. Gamu - "Shake the Room"

165. Mika - "Popular (feat. Ariana Grande)"

182. Bastille - "Laura Palmer"

188. Olly Murs - "Dear Darlin'"

225. Knife Party - "EDM Death Machine"

234. Editors - "A Ton of Love"

Another to keep an eye on is Wiley's "Lights On", which I've been hearing occasionally on Kiss. The Angel-sung chorus is actually pretty decent, though the radio've cut Tinchy Stryder out (just as they did JME from "Can You Hear Me?"). Would be a shame to see this miss the T100, I'm not holding out for a T40 positioning though.

It's up to Stooshe or Demi Lovato next week to keep up the current trend of underperforming female hits following Amelia Lily, Misha B and now Gabrielle Alpin. The latter two should be smashing though. :(

I think Blurred Lines is an easy #1 in a few weeks. In fact, though its supposed to be out the 16th June, I can see the label bringing the release forward and it could be the song to knock DP off the top. Whilst Passenger hasn't peaked yet, it wouldnt surprise me if it gets stuck at #2, thats unless he does some promo or its used in the Voice or something.

The DP lead is still incredible, I wonder how long it will that big?

Kiss FM have some really short radio edits. Sometimes they do this thing where they play loads of songs one after another but shortened.

It would be amazing if that happened. Although I could see it doing like We No Speak Americano (which had way more hype than this and for much longer too) and debut surprisingly "low" and climb to #1 later.

I agree it will be big though. You sometimes see that Internet buzz of songs way before they blow up, like with Thrift Shop, Somebody That I Used to Know and Let Her Go, and Blurred Lines is another one like that.

If it did replace Daft Punk at #1, Pharrell would replace himself at #1! It's only as a featured artist of course, but that must still be extremely rare.

While I'm certainly not complaining, I'm curious as to what's woken this song up again?

Its on the 'Great Gatsby' soundtrack and is one of the tracks available to download alone, without having to download the whole album.

 33| Carly Rae Jepsen - Tonight I'm Getting Over You

Keep climbing girl!
