Naughty Boy up to 0.96 of Daft Punk...

Will probably nab the top spot within the hour

Wow, it is doing exceedingly well!

How has this been so massive when 'Wonder' did relatively poorly despite featuring a much bigger name? Did people just not like 'Wonder'? (I can understand why :P)

I think Wonder was overshadowed by the huge success of Beneath Your Beautiful in the same week. Obviously, you could argue that Miami 2 Ibiza still did well though when that was released so close to Written in the Stars.

It's (nearly) the end of an era!

If albums were released on Sundays, I reckon the album version of 'Get Lucky' would probably already be in the top 10 by now. I think the era should last another week.

That said, it would be a massive turn up for the books if Daft Punk actually kept Robin Thicke off #1 though.

Plus, Emeli Sande's album has sold about 1m extra since it was reissued with 'Wonder' on it, so a good number of those purchases could've been because of it (it did feel to me like 'Wonder' was being treated by the label as an official Emeli Sande single, since they didn't launch 'Clown' until it had died down).

Ugh, no idea why La La La has become the song to overtake Get Lucky when Let Her Go, Blackout, So Good To Me, Can't Hold Us, Heart Attack etc. all couldn't manage it. La La La is just as good/bad/mediocre as a lot of songs right now.

Am I missing something...

There an option in iTunes to 'Display Exact Duplicates' in your library, but there doesn't seem to be one to do so on the iPod itself (I don't auto-synchronise, as you probably guessed)?

Just listened to the Naught Boy track and I'm not seeing the fuss at all. I was hoping something better than this would knock DP from #1.

1. Naughty Boy - La La La 100%

2. Daft Punk - Get Lucky 82.86%

It looks like Naughty Boy might get the official number 1 after all with the EP sales added as well.

That's what so upsetting about it. I don't think I'll be more pissed off about a chart position if it does go to #1...
