Little Mix started off so promisingly with 'Wings', which actually sounded quite fresh and original, but since then they've just released songs that are pale imitations of other people's.

I got bored of 'How Ya Doin'?' quite fast, although I still think, like Regina, it's my second favourite from them. Will probably start loving it again in a couple of months when it's no longer played on radio.
I'm going to have to cringeworthily fangirl here, but is Taylor Swift '22' now out of the chart? *sob* The song of the summer that-never-was.

I think it is. Other songs that have dropped out are:

Gwon Paramore  Hope this can go top 20 but I think this will be its peak now.
How Ya Doin? isn't half bad. Heard it on the radio the other day. Their second best song after DNA.

I can only agree with this :D

Yeah, it's weird. If a song spent 6 weeks at #1 today, it'd most likely go on to spend 50+ weeks top 75.

Yeah think it was a mid September release then they quickly moved to Shut Up which was released in the first week of December to take advantage of Xmas sales so the airplay lessened!

Yay for a new peak, even if it is just by a couple of place! :cheer: Fingers crossed it can reach the Top 20.

33 33 4 Carly Rae Jepsen Tonight I'm Getting Over You

Added to that ;)

Despite it being the possibly the most poppy thing they've done, I have grown to love this. I really hope it can go top 20 soon. Oh and HOW cute does Hayley look in that video?

Discussion Thread Here

'Dumb' making the top 40 is one of the worst things to EVER happen to the chart.

(Okay that was an exaggeration but still seriously? Thankfully it's been extremely frontloaded, after initially going to #11 on iTunes and now being all the way down to #60).

Little Mix started off so promisingly with 'Wings', which actually sounded quite fresh and original, but since then they've just released songs that are pale imitations of other people's.

Okay I'm curious, what exactly is 'HYD' mimicking? Or 'Change Your Life' for that matter? 'DNA' I can sort of understand.
