The Great Gatsby Discussion Here

Yeah, but it was 59p last week as well.

And was 43, a bit higher than that now. I don't think the big weekend added so much to that

WTF  The first time they've skipped a song in years and they skip Duke Dumont when The Lumineers had been in the chart for 32, yes, THIRTY TWO WEEKS.

No no no Radio 1.

Jameela seriously needs to get over the fact that the charts can't always be filled with David Guetta, Calvin Harris and multiple clones of their songs.

Please don't start skipping songs every week again... :(

   at the song skipping. One of my favourite songs too
This is actually really overrated and rather boring.

Uhhhh, so WHY did they skip Need U (100%)? Not that it's a big deal to me, but that seems just a BIT random

I think she probably got told just before Duke Dumont that they were running out of time - that's why she'd skip that instead of Ho Hey. But still, I like Ho Hey more (don't shoot me) :D

True, but sometimes I wouldn't be against skipping some songs (like songs that are more than 30 wks old in the top 40)

OMG that's brilliant! Radio 1 bosses need to know that we still don't want songs to be skipped in the chart show.

Sub Focus falling at a comical rate :( Love this song!

Skipping two or three songs is fine as long as they've been in the chart for ages.

But they played the even older White Noise and Mirrors...

If only they skipped the Lumineers, I wouldn't mind that after 33 weeks, but a fairly recent track its a bit silly imo.
